Welcome to the group!!!

We really need to come up with a name for our group. All the other really cool cruise groups do and we don't want to be left out do we. Besides saying Welcome to the <Fill in the Blank Cruise Group Name> sounds so much better than the generic welcome to our group thing.

I'll be trying to think of a clever name, good idea!

No more rental cars for us after the last cruise! We nearly got killed.... We came upon some traffic headed back toward the airport, and came to a sudden stop... the brakes locked up and we started skidding, spinning... DH overcorrected twice so we spun one way, then the other, and then continued to spin around until we spun into the muddy shoulder. We managed to not hit anything but it was the scariest thing ever.

After that, we said we'd go the limo/towncar route from now on.

I don't think I heard that story from you before. That must have been really scary. I know we had about 5 minutes of terror on I-4 in Orlando once. I have seen some crazy driving but this was insane! We now always avoid I-4 at all costs when we drive down there.

See I knew you could be the person for the job. I am really uncreative so it helps to have the artistic people around.

I like Pirates in Paradise or Krazy Kroozers (although the Kroozers one reminds me a bit of Krazy Boozers so maybe not the best idea, huh? ).

That is really great Joy. Did you take that picture? It is beautiful and I might have to steal it for my work computer desktop picture if you don't mind.

I think I am really sold now on the Pirates in Paradise name after seeing it on the shirt design. That one gets my vote.

Well I have been a bit too chatty this morning. I really should get some work done so I can afford to cruise this December.

Okay, Tracy, I added you to the Google Group... you should be able to login now.

I like Pirates in Paradise too, which is why I used it on the tshirt design. I can load it into CafePress and everyone can order their own, or print it on transfer paper and iron it on. I am thinking a Navy blue shirt, myself... maybe the big logo on the back and a small pocket logo that says Pirates in Paradise with the Mickey head silhouette.

Becka - I actually used an image here from wdwinfo.com... I am not sure if they are okay to use... I will have to send an email to Pete asking... and if not, I'm sure there is someone on the photography board who might be willing to share a clear image of CC... unless you all have other suggestions. Maybe John1 or Brack has one -- I did not get off the ship early enough on the first CC day last time to get a good people-free shot of the beach.

Personally, I am not one for big splashy tshirt designs, and I like the idea of the pocket logo much more... so maybe we do the pocket logo on the front of a shirt, and save this one I just made for our DOOR SIGNS!!! And then when you pass by a room with the door sign on it, you autograph it!

I was also thinking that maybe we could do something with CafePress. If we do then maybe we could have more than one design - one more low key and one big and splashy. Also they let you make all kinds of other "stuff" with the logos that people might want as well.

Thanks on the rental car advice. I think I am just going to do FL Tours. I have been going back and fourth with what to do for transportation and carseat. I read something yesterday on passporter that strongly suggests children under 40 lbs fly in their carseats. So, I think we will just take the carseat along, and have it stored while on the boat.

I LOVE THE DESIGN! That is awesome for a door sign!! I love this stuff. DH thinks I am insane!! The t-shirts is cool too!! I can't wait for our cruise!!

So, can I keep asking questions??!! Sorry, but I think I have stuff figured out, then I read something that gives me another question!! Pre-cruise we are doing a night at POP, and going to check out DTD. Then probabaly doing FL Tours to port. On way back we don't fly from MCO until 6pm. Any thoughts on an inexpensive way to spend our day? I considered the Hyatt at MCO day rate, so DD can get a nap.
