Dear Fellow Cruisers: I was on the computer at 12:01 a.m. on Sunday night and was able to get what we wanted: Palo: Thursday at 6:00; the 12-Metre Regatta for DH and DS (Basil Fox); and the St. Thomas Island Tour for all four of us. Also, got the Cabana Massage for DS. I plan to "shop 'til you drop" whether on board the Magic or at St. Maarten, St. Thomas and Castaway Cay!
Tonight is a Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween night at WDW. I sure wish I was there! I have been looking on the web for any pictures I can find about it. Has anyone done a cruise over Halloween? I just wondered what is done special for the holiday.
Also, since our cruise is just before Christmas is anything special done to the Magic to make it "Holiday Ready?" Are there any special items for the Stateroom Celebrations or Merchandise that is in your stateroom when you get on board? Also, if I order the Bon Voyage or Birthday Celebration is that the ONLY place you can get the Door Magnet that is applicable? Has anyone ever gotten the door magnets for either of these celebrations?
If they are nothing special I might go to a local party shop to get stuff to decorate the cabin. I have been working on sticker art for the room that I could put on the mirrors.
Is EVERYONE as excited as I am? I have been thinking about adding on a few days at the end of the cruise at PC. Since I am an AP it would be really easy to do. I have already looked into it. Is anyone else staying on at WDW AFTER the cruise. It seems like several people have mentioned going to WDW BEFORE the cruise.

I was in WDW last year about this time and did the MNSSHP. The fireworks were awsome. And they bring out Cindrella's carriage to take pictures with. And the villians come out too. All the rides were pretty well walk on , but there seemed to be a lot of people around though It was our last night and I got my Photo pass pictures put on a CD to take home, best night to do it because I got 40% off if you had any photo pass pictures taken that night.

I'm sure they must have the ship decorated for Christmas by the time we get on. I thinking they would do this right after Thanksgiving. Don't think they would do anything special in the rooms though. I could be wrong though since this is our first cruise at Christmas time. We are returning so I hope they changed that gift that is waiting for you in you stateroom.

Disney Lady, we have done pirate and princess party and the fireworks are fabulous! We are'nt staying onsite after the cruise, but will be doing MVMCP on the 14th! The ship will be decorated, and CC will be also. Other then that really not sure. We are looking forward to seeing it all during the holiday season....a first for us!!

Yes, the ship will be decorated for christmas when we get on. They do not do anything special in the rooms though. If you want that you will have to do that yourself.

I thought so , I have too much other stuff to carry to worry about decorating our room. I just hope I can fit all our dress clothes and shoes in the luggage. My kids are getting bigger and so are their clothes.

My 11 year old son has size 11 shoes bigger then his Dads. So put dress shoes in there. And he is a small men's to meduim men's clothes. He is growing alike a bad weed.

Plus last time we took a Tiffany Town car to the Port and the guy almost couldn't fit all the luggage in the trunk.....

Can't wait to see the ship decorated though!!!

oh no!! I know how you feel, something similar happened to me with our last cruise - just after I made the reservations, the system went down and I lost everything. When I came back, it was all gone! I was able to get things arranged when I got on board though so it worked out in the end. Hopefully the same will happen for you!

Okay, this is how much I love you guys... I went back through half the pages and wrote down everyone who has posted to this thread in the last 6 months (back to March). I tried to delete anyone who has dropped out... but this list might not be totally accurate still. This is a form collector that I use for my business and I just set up a data gathering form for our cruise. I know you guys have given this information before, but if you can do it again, that will help in getting the most up-to-date roster for our cruise, and then we can begin to plan some activities. I will only share the data gathered with those that share with me...

I will also post this to the Google group but I don't know we're getting much usage out of that so I'm going to switch to direct emails.

Please let me know if you know anyone on this list that has dropped out and I will update.

Please note that there is NO PRESSURE for anyone to participate in any of the activities... everything is completely optional.

I really was just hoping to get a little get-together going... nothing too much. On our last cruise, we had a meet-n-greet in the terminal, a group photo by the Mickey pool on embarkation afternoon, and a group photo in the lobby on Pirate Night. There were others who did a cabin-to-cabin progressive wine tasting and I'm sure some other mini-meets.

I would love to have some other moms and princesses join me and Sarah for the tea with Alice (I think it's on Sunday afternoon).

If someone else wants to start a fish extender exchange thing, feel free to volunteer to coordinate. I will see where we're at right before the cruise, but I personally don't want to get too stressed out with bringing extra stuff and worrying about hitting all the cabins... (and I also nearly went broke paying for this cruise as it is...).

Nickole, I am joining you on the no fish extenders bandwagon. I know some people really enjoy it and more power to them! But I have enough to pack already and would hate to spend part of my cruise wandering the hallways looking for room #s.

Dear Bubba's Mom: I am INTERESTED in the Tea with Alice and the Mad Hatter. I could not find a place to register for it when I did the Palo, Excursions, Spa Reservations.
When I was at DLR last January, I bought a Mad Hatter's Hat from the Mad Hatter's Shop and will bring it on the cruise to wear to the tea!
Let me know how to register for the tea and I will do it.
Also, my son (Basil Fox) helped me find the place to fill out the form for being on the cruise. There will be DH, DS (Basil Fox) and MIL besides myself.

You cannot register for Tea for the kids until you get onboard.

I'm also agree on the no fish extenders. Just too much too pack and airline regs are just too expensive if you go over.
