12/5/09 -- DUMMY -- The Cruise Your Heart Desires Most ; )

Now Disney is soooo good at keeping secrets....

They just announced the new DVC property at .... guess where

Hilarious Tom!

Now what would be really cool is some DVC suites on the new ships.....

Now this would be something that gets MY attention. However, what do you figure the odds are? You know they already do a time share on a cruise ship - it's on The World. They have a nifty little apartment (#715) with 1100 sq feet 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms offerred for $3.4M plus approximately 6% of that purchase price in annual maintenance fees & port charges.

The floor plan above is actually the next larger sized unit at 1350 sq feet. However, it is very similar in layout to the unit #715 for sale.

I don't know about you, but I was a little scared when she stood up in the Jacuzzi and started wiping off the bubbles!:scared1:

Now what exactly were you expectin' Mike?

Me... I had NO fear as I harbor only the most INNOCENT of expectations....

OK, hide the rope swing photos...I have a job interview tomorrow.

Any appendages you want to cross and pixie dust you want to sprinkle would be greatly appreciated.

But the one with the drink in hand, shows ability to multitask :lmao:

This thread is for anyone who booked the 12/5/09 dummy cruise.

The important questions:

When do you expect to cruise?
Where do you hope to go?
Who would you love to cruise with ?

:squirrel: (couldn't find a dummy, so I picked a squirrel)

Found it..................

When - Late August 2010 (after Alex's A'Level results).
Where - 1) TransAtlantic to UK or back combined with Northern Europe
2) Southern Caribbean
3) Alaska
Who - Family and friends from previous cruise. Mother-in-law is welcome (through gritted teeth) but I will NOT be changing from this cruise on this occasion. DS16 Alex will be 18 on this cruise and has asked for a stateroom on his own in case he wants to take a girlfriend. He can do what he wants if he's paying.

We'll go when you go. :goodvibes

The second thing I highlighted... And I would say the same thing *If you're paying do what you want.* :rotfl2:
Katherine is really hoping she can convince her dh to come with us.

We would love to go to the Southern Caribbean again as well.

Interesting fact Steph, you were the very first American we ever heard face to face say "Y'all" - it was outside Treasure Ketch on the Wonder, I remember it so well.:)

David

:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: I'm glad I could be of service! Any other *Texas slang* you would like to hear in real life? I can get Jon to talk Texan to you! He says things like *It's better then a stick in the eye.* *She throws a good colt.* (what one of his Uncles used to say about his wife. ) And I'm sure there are many other expressions! :rotfl:

Fingers and toes crossed and lots of Pixie Dust!!!!

You guys are great! I wasn't angling for a ride. I looked it's Capitol South metro station on the blue-orange line. The hotel is the Capitol Hill Suites. I called them to see availability and price. I missed the cutoff for the $149 per night rate. The guys tells me Sat night is $626! :scared1: So I went on travelocity and got Fri-Sun nights for $750! Knew it wouldn't be cheap, but come on!

That is a HUGH difference!! Who do they think they are? Disney? ;)

Hey I can multi task while talking to Cheryl and still manage to spend $65 at Michaels!

I'm all alone today in my area at work. Have the door locked so the people who can't read the "Staff Only" sign can't get in!

I've baked a Birthday cake for dh while talking to Cheryl!

I'm :rotfl: about the locked door!

What about the way Texans say "pretty" - that's really cool.:rotfl: Is it "perdy" or "perty".

David

Yes if they charged comparable WDW DVC points, because I don't have enough points to pay the amount they currently charge for their lowest category on DCL. :sad2:

We cruised once on DVC points, and we've been borrowing points ever since.

All crossables are crossed! Linda & I both wish you the best of luck!

All double *t's* are said like they are *d's*. And we like to leave the *g* off the end of words that end in *ing*. Does that help? ;) :rotfl2:

Cheryl & John, David posted a pic from the 2006 cruise on the main forum -- under Dis meet pics (or somethng like that!).

In the thread you will also see a couple of pics of Sandy's dgd that was born...9 months after the cruise (?). :goodvibes

I talked to Dawn (J & K Princess mom ?) on the Resort boards (I've talked to her several times in the last couple of years -- she also posted on my ABD thread!). She had a souvenir baby also - remember? Her's is a little boy.

That would be my order but leave out Alaska totally. Give a good time as Arlene has free long distance to UK so we might just want to talk to Helen on the phone.:woohoo: :yay: :woohoo:
