We stayed offsite so I won't go into all the meals we ate-just the ones we had an opinion on one way or the other. Prices are for 2 adults unless specified, my dd just shared what we had:
Donald's Breakfest in AK: It wasn't anything "special" for the holidays as they had advertised. The characters just had on santa hats-but it was the first time our 19 mo. dd had seen characters so that was nice. The food was really quite good. Buffett style, a lot of choices. Both my hubby and I liked it. $16.99 per person plus tax and gratuity--roughly $50 for breakfast.
Mama Melrose in MGM: We just did not like this place. The atmosphere was fine but the food was AWFUL. It was the first place I ever saw my husband ask for a comment card so he could give a bad review. He had the chicken parmesan and I had some type of panino (sandwhich). His was rubbery and mine was SO SALTY (and I like salt). It just wasn't good. Especially for the price-again roughly $50 for lunch.
Cosmic Rays in MK: Counter food. He had chicken sandwhich, I split chicken fingers with my daughter. Nothing special-quick and less expensive. $22
Bakery on Main street in MK: Everything was delicious. Muffins, cinnamon rolls, cookies. Yum! $15 including milk.
CRT, character breakfast: The food was okay. preplated sausage, bacon, french toast, eggs. But not worth the $20 a head. Maybe when your kids are older and begging to go, but otherwise real impressive. We got some good photos of our daughter but for the money I probably won't do it again.
Tony's in MK: Worried that it would be bad considering Mama Melrose, but it was just fine. My parents joined us and they both had Veal Marsala, we split spagetthi and meatballs. Not sure what the bill was as my folks picked it up before we saw it. The spagetti was $19.
Whispering Canyon in WL: We really like the food. The atmosphere was fun and kept the kids in the place entertained. I had the ribs and my hubby had the pork chops, our daughter had the hot dog with a fruit cup. We also both had a glass of wine. We really enjoyed the food-thought it was the best we had at a sit down place. Bill was around $60 + tip.
