Just paid our deposit - count us in.

Family of 5 - DD - 14, DD - 13, DD - 7

This is our second Disney Cruise - we previously were on a 7 Night Western Caribbean. Gonna try to recruit some local friends to join us!

Wow! Glad to see more people in here! I am cruising with my DH, DS 12, DD 10, and DS 4. I've been wanting to go on a Disney cruise forever and can't believe it's finally going to happen!

We usually don't do anything special for NYE, so this will be different.

Nice day here today, it has been warm in the mornings then clouding up and storming in the afternoon, will see what it does today. Today we get to go down to Loveland for Scott's doc to read his MRI.

We are going on this cruise! woohoo can not wait to go!
There will be DH me and DS, 4, we are leaving our older boys, they have been on some prior cruises
We are coming from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada so a New years Cruise will be awesome

DCL told me formal night will be NYE but does anyone know when pirate night will be?? I guess only one night on fireworks, right?? So when will it be??

My guess would be night 3 for Pirate Night based on other people's reports about 5 nt cruises. Those were on the Wonder though. I'm debating if we should try Palo since it's our first cruise, and if so, when.

My guess would be night 3 for Pirate Night based on other people's reports about 5 nt cruises. Those were on the Wonder though. I'm debating if we should try Palo since it's our first cruise, and if so, when.

Palo's is worth the try. If you schedule Palo's, don't go if you are scheduled for the first night in Animator's Palate, that's when they do "the show". Alex

Palo's is definately worth it, but then, so are the rotation meals, it would be hard to chose a night on a short cruise. Personally, I would go for New Years Eve, since I understand that is formal night anyway, and that would mean I would not have to pack 2 fancy outfits.

I'm glad to finally see a thread for our cruise. We were booked on the SanFran to Vancouver repo cruise next Spring but due to school schedules, we switched to this cruise the day it opened. Snagged a SPH room. This will be our 5th sailing and we are excited to spend NYE with Mickey!

Jamie and I are looking at possibly coming to WDW on December 23 and spending Christmas in Florida and then getting on the ship on the 29th.

Have ressies at OKW for the 23rd to 26th and then have to decide what to do after that. Still need to check airline ressies and stuff. Need to look at using a companion certificate and there may be black out dates so may need to adjust.

Can't wait to spend New Year's Eve on the ship! Palo's for dinner, most definitely!

This is the ONE cruise that actually works around school and band schedules for us. Our last two cruises I loved the planning and prepping but for this one I am just overjoyed to be able to go.
