Thanks guys! I was told by a DCL CM that they charge your cc whenever you get to $400. (For a 7 nt. cruise). And if you tell them you want the "cash" option, then they let you know when you are close to your 400.00 limit, so you can go settle up. Or you can go down and have them charge your card each day if it is easier for you to keep track.
But, i know as soon as i board, i will tell them i want my OBC to go towards my excursions that i have booked,right? Is that what you are saying to do? Or will our $200 OBC just be taken off the first 200.00 that is on our tab? Which will obviously be the excursions anyway.. right? Or does the excursion charge normally not show up til the day of that particular excursion? I mean, if we book the CC fishing for DH, and it is $117, but doesn't happen til the last day of the cruise, does that $117 go on our tab right away, or does it wait to show up til that day??

I think on our cruise it was $500 but your basic premise is correct. Our OBC credit from our TA went toward the first $'s we charged. The excursions were the first things that were charged on our bill and they were charged all at once.

Cafe Coyote. I had the small El Presidente. We had dinner the night before at Cafe Sevilla, which was great. I had a mojito there. Pictures from last cruise below.

Since the OP of our thread is no longer going on our cruise, I pm'd Lisa (lbgraves) who said I could pm her with whatever info we would like to put on the first page and she would add a link.

On our WB Panama Canal thread we listed DIS board names, first names and ages. We could also announce that we are going to wear green lei's at the sailaway party to recognize each other!!

Any other things we should add on that link?? Suggestions anyone???

Hi Everyone!

I'm new to DISboards and just found this thread. We will be spending our New Year's Eve aboard the Magic this year as well. This will be our first Disney Cruise, but we have been to Disney more times then I can remember and on quite a few other cruises. We are really looking forward to this trip! I was able to book our excursions last night and even managed to get a Palo reservation. However I do have one question. Does anyone know what night will be Pirates Night? With NYE I couldn't figure out the schedule.

This will be our first Disney Cruise, but we have been to Disney more times then I can remember and on quite a few other cruises. We are really looking forward to this trip! I was able to book our excursions last night and even managed to get a Palo reservation. However I do have one question. Does anyone know what night will be Pirates Night? With NYE I couldn't figure out the schedule.

Ann, Welcome to the DIS!!! Glad you are joining us -- we were starting to wonder where everyone on this cruise was! LOL
Birkner (Noel) is putting together a master list of us cruisers, with our cabin numbers and our names/ages.. if you would like to post any of that info for her, she will compile a list . Also, i ordered lime green (the official DIS color) lei's.. i have 7 extra, we are going to be wearing them for the sailaway party, so we can recognize each other, so if you would like one, just let me know.. and i will drop it in the mail for you.

Welcome aboard Ann and family!! As Stacy (Caitsmama) told you, I am compiling a list so we can all get to know each other before we sail. If you check the last two pages, you can see pics of Caitsmama's, WiscBill and our family. Our family is in the Walt suite this cruise and I hope to invite everyone over for a visit!!

Wow, thanks everyone! It looks like our Palo dinner on Thursday will work out great then. We are giving the trip to our girls for their Christmas/Birthday present so it is a little tricky sneaking around with all this excitement, but so far I think we are right on schedule.

Noel, we would love to be added to the list. Here is our info; there will be me (Ann), my husband Steve, and our 2 daughters; Natalie (who will be turning 12 on 1-1-08) and Megan who is 5.

So how many families are heading on this trip? I figured this would be very popular week with the way winter break falls this year. If there is anything I really need to know that I might miss please fill me in.

We will be all meeting at the Sailaway party wearing our green leis!!

My GK's are Aspen (GD) age 13, Bailey (GD) age 10 and Spencer (GS) age 8. Bailey and Natalie will probably be in the lab together.

I was working on the master list for our cruise this morning and have a quick question for Stacy (caitsmama).

Stacy, did you ever sort out which family is in which stateroom? Also, I do not have ages for your brother-in-law Bob, or in laws Karlene and Dave?
