And the kids?? Denial. They are in denial. But you are right, they don't get it, and they won't....until they are about 30 years old.
Mine finally got all their chores done, but Jared forgot to clean the bucket outside that his dad told him to do.......guess who will be up at 5:00 a.m. cleaning a bucket with the drill sergeant??

Okay...I'm outta here.......Don't count your T.O.P.s yet.....we're taking the lap top!

And by the way....I hope I DON'T see any more of those animatronic deer!

Speaking of kids, was there a list somewhere of who had kids going, how old,etc? I see the list of who from the boards is going on Jen's site but nothing about how many family members, etc.

I started my own countdown at work and boy is it depressing! Still over 500 days, but in a week we will have gone below 500! Does anyone know how I can add a counter here?

The turkey pecked on a lump of dung and found it actually gave him enough strength to reach the first branch of the tree. The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch. Finally, after the fourth night, he was proudly perched at the top of the tree. He was promptly spotted by the farmer, who shot the turkey out of the tree.

Moral Of The Story:

Bull_____ might get you the top, but it won't keep you there.

I just wanted post that unfortunately I had to cancel our cruise.

Therefore ladies, up for grabs for your islands are: Josh Groban, Luke (from the ship), Anderson Cooper, Michael Vartan, and Walt Disney.

I hope you enjoy your cruise and maybe we'll cruise together in the future.

So Sorry to hear we won't be cruising with us, Elaine. Have a great time on your cruise. It is a good thing to still be able to see the ship all decorated.

I got my CD from CC yesterday! I have it here at work and have it set to just keep repeating track 9! I hear the waves lapping at the shore and the seagulls in the background of everything now! What fun.

I can tell this should be a fun cruise if I get to hang out with all you wild 'n' crazy people!

We can do fluff. But don't they frown on that here after a while?

Am I the only one who cannot stand that it is still like 505 days until our cruise???!!??

I am way too excited about this trip. Now if I could just figure out a way to make it cost less. I have been reading the posts about switching reservations to TAs and such but we got such a good savings because we booked during our cruise last month (about $800 over what they list it on the DCL site) PLUS the $200 onboard credit. I find ones that are about $200 lower but with our credit that works out even. And I like that because it is through Disney I can book our excursions online when we get within 90 days (and that is still over a year away ). Sorry, just a little concerned about finances at the moment...oh well, no big deal.

At least the weather is wonderful here now that the heatwave has broken. And my dad is coming into town a week from today to spend a couple days with us and visit with his granddaughter.

Not muich going on this weekend, though. Maybe dh will finally get the lawn mowed. It looks rather shaggy.

Hi all. Yes the second page just won't do. lol. That new smile is just WEIRD! lol. is weird spelled right? probably not. lol. My aunt comes out from CA tonight. Too bad i have to work. oh well, its good money. I have a favor to ask you all. My favorite race horse, Afleet Alex is on recovery from surgery to fix a hairline fracture. Please keep him in your thoughts and pray that he is able to race in the Breeders Cup on October 27th. Thanks very much. And go see the Island if you haven't already. haha.

Kat, they do frown on "fluffy" but I think on the "meets" board they figure there is a lot fluffy in getting to know each other and let it slide. Sooooo, fluff away. The reason I always bring up Lynda is because on the 10 Day 2004 X-Mas Cruise thread, she was truly The Fluff Queen . I don't think she could tell the most simple of stories in less than 42 posts

Jen, I will certainly send Pixie Dust and Prayers out for Afleet Alex.

Well, yesterday I bought a new car and hubby brought it home today . I am one very happy camper right now. Of course, I had to give up my Farmer's Porch I have been dreaming of for 5 years. Well, for now anyway .

It has been a very lovely day here too! We took DH's "new" boat out to the reservoir and checked it out. That was fun but my head really hurts. The fumes are bad in the back and too much time in the sun. Oh well, it sure was fun and DD and the niece loved it!
