Howdy mousekateers!!!!

welcome home MaryAnn. You are so funny. Was the weather good for you? How did Jimmy handle all the smoke?

Had a job offer and a job interview today. Now I have to decide :teacher: add the numbers up and see which would be best. M-F 7-3 office job or open schedule in a place I would thrive in. :confused3 Opinions are welcome.

Well I have to pop off and make dinner (and have a beer). Cheers all.
Sleep tight don't let the bed bugs bite. D

gaRry, you know you wanted to come on this cruise. lol. you'll really want to go on this cruise after Bonaire. haha. :rotfl:

We had great weather. Thanks for the welcome home!! Smoking doesn't bother the "Man of Steel". Mind over matter, don't ya know!!

If you are open to opinions on the job options.....I would go for the open schedule. Your girls are young and they will need you on a moments notice. And when they start school there are the things that go on at school on a regular basis that you will really regret not being able to attend, or being stressed out to get coverage so that you can attend. To be honest, I left a pretty good paying management job when Julia was about 4 years old, I went back to work when she was 4 months old. I started my daycare and make a fraction of the pay with no benefits but I was amazed how much more enjoyable and less stressful my life became being able to be there for her during the day. Now, of course, financials pick up some of that stress (they did for us)and you need to weigh the positive and negative for your own family. Hmmm......not much help, am I?

Hi all - how's everyone doing? Haven't posted over here in, oh, like FOREVER! But garRy gave me a hard time for not posting with my old friends from the '04 Christmas cruise, so here I am. DH and I leave in 12 days for two days in FL, then board the Magic for the big trip through the canal with other old friends like Linda (seaulater) and Ken (kpros). I know there are others, but I can't think right now...just lying in wait to snag the 11,000th post over on the repo cruise thread. pirate:

See what ya'll have turned me into?

Anyhoo...we are booked on the Holiday '06 cruise too. Already looking forward to it!

Hi Kara

Welcome back. Have a GREAT time on your cruise. I did the AM walk with Ken's wife, Shari a couple of times and sat with Ken on the Pirate Excursion at St Lucia. Very nice people and enjoyed meeting them very much.

Good luck in your pirate: pirate: pirate: on the post 11,000.

I agree......and you really had me (Denise) when you said "a place you could thrive in"
There's your answer right there. I am sooooooo grateful to have a flexible schedule. (If you sleep with the boss, he'll even give you Friday off!)
