12/16/06 10-day holiday cruise

So, last few days I have been obsessively planning for my Vegas Trip Friday. I discovered Vegas is a little like Orlando. You could be there two months and still only see a fraction of what they have to offer. I wish it wasn't so far away and airfare so expensive. I think I would be there all the time.

We are going to see three shows. Mama Mia (DD's favorite show), KA, and Gordie Brown. I wanted to see "O" but it is dark most of the week and the available tickets were not that great of seats. I got excellent seats for KA so I am happy. We are going to take a day trip to Hoover Dam. That is something I think Julia should see. Other than that, I will just be trying to win money to pay for this trip. Actually, I'm not a big gambler, that's DH's Deptartment.

Well, got a meeting at the school later on , so everyone went down for an early nap (very quiet). We'll see how this one goes.

gaRry and jEn - I am sooooo sorry, this weekend just won't work for me. Sat am I pick up Jesse and Sam from their first overnight at the new kennel, Sat afternoon Nick has his first lax game, Sat evening Sarah has her prom and Sunday I have another concert at Juniata College.


jEn - pm me your phone number and directions just in case I can skip the prom on Sat. Sorry about the SAT score, sometimes do-overs are the best.

i sent the PM. Sorry you might not be able to make it. I really hope you can. Maybe we can meet in the summer or fall. I am so excited. I can't wait to retake the SATs and get a better score. Anything is better than that really bad score.

i think Boo has a dust allergy. She hacks and coughs everytime she runs in the indoor. No i wasn't tired, but i think Boo was really blowing.

Ka and "O" are both Cirque du Solei shows. Ka involves fire and "O" involves water.
I think "O" is one of the best shows I've ever seen, if not the best. (Ka is pronounced kaah). "O" is at the Bellagio and Ka is at the MGM Grand. There is also another one, Zumanity, which is at New York New York......that's a fun one.

i've always watned to see that show. All of them. Never been to Vegas, so i never got the chance.

I haven't seen Ka. I'm sure that it is just as amazing as the others, but for some reason, it just doesn't appeal to me. But then, David Copperfield never did either, but we had free tix to see him, so we went, and he was great!

Thanks, the closest I have been to a Cirque performance is on BRAVO. In WDW I have always had little ones and I am too THRIFTY to take them.

Me, too.....but in Vegas, there are no little ones....and the tickets are comped....otherwise, we wouldn't go either.

sorry to hear that. Everyone in my family has a cold. My teachers all have colds. Its allergy season out here so everyone has sinus infections. hope you get better soon.

Jesse and Sam spent the day at the new kennel. Everything went well. I signed them up for 'camping', a 30 minute walk. Jesse wasn't interested in the whole 30 minutes so I will cut him to 2 'hiking' sessions, 15 minute walks. Sam was fine with everything. Now Friday night they spend the NIGHT.
I am like gaRry, I will miss my babies.

are you talking about your dogs? i have a dog named Spur. lol. He's a mutt, but a good mutt. I hate when i have to go on vacation and leave him. Can you post a picture of your dogs sUe?

I truly hope Sue was talking about her dogs, because if I find out after all this time that I could have left my kids at the kennel, rather than bring them along.....I'm gonna be mad!
