Sherrena, sorry to hear about your neighbor. Your box came today, thank you! Dave isn't home yet but he will enjoy the sauces, I'm sure.

I got looking at the resorts and I changed to Coronado Springs from Caribbean Beach. The pool looks like it will be a lot more fun for Sam and I DO plan to let her have some pool time so I want it to be something she will have fun with. The slide looks cool. I like the idea of central air and room service too! And all for the same price.

Actually this was planned. I found out that I would need surgery in November. I originally was trying to get it done before vacation, however, my surgeon convinenced me that it wasn't necessary. I really didn't think about it on the cruise.

My surgeon was outstanding. He gave me a hug & kiss when I left his office today.

I have to do the Iodine treatment in 6 weeks. Apparently I take a pill and then I can't be around my kids for 3 days. They suggest I check into a hotel. Must be powerful stuff. I haven't yet figured out what I'm going to do. I still have some time.

Glad things worked out with your surgery. Just curious, do you have to stay away from kids? Stress, rest, exposure? Either way it doesn't sounds all bad to me either. You might as well make it enjoyable!

Robin, if you're not sure about your situation and there is no hurry, I'd wait too....I think you're smart. No sense going through all the stress of a surgery if you're not convinced it is what you need.

Kat, I would definitely go for central air and pool time in Florida in Summer. Sounds like you made a good choice.

Kid sports like crazy today...Lacrosse, basketball, tennis, take your pick! Unlike much of the rest of the country, though, our weather is going to be great...near 70, makes it nice to be out and about. (Especially since two of the sports are outdoors.) Have a great day, all!

Cold and rainy here today. And I have been really hit hard with this cold. Can't breathe, feel like a slug. I just want to crawl back into bed but have to work today (fortunately I can work from home) as soon as I get a call saying the client is ready for me to get on their system and put things back together.

Woo Hoo! I just got the mail and had a surprise from the Castaway Club! A magnet to put on the side of the car (though I put it on the fridge, don't want to lose it). Pretty neat!

Sorry to hear that you are down with a cold....hard to work when you feel like that...geesh .....Feel better and get some rest and make DH take care of you and rub your feet.

Well looks like I will have to hybernate till it goes away...Well I can at least start a fire in the fireplace, that is always nice and I do love that, and also make some hot Choc. with whipped cream ...I like that also.

Hi all!

Sorry to have been away for so long...And hugs to everyone who had such difficulties after the cruise...I'm keeping you all in my prayers.

Keith's dad's 20-year-old cousin died on 12/31 from injuries she received in a car crash (single-vehicle crash). Her 21-year-old passenger also died. What's up with all that stuff???

On the bright side, I have 10 new fish that seem to be adjusting very well. In an incredible twist, when I was siphoning off the last of the old water from the tank, on New Year's Day, I found 1 surviving algae eater under the gravel. How that critter survived all this time, and in 40-degree water for some of the time, I'll never know. But he's still around, looking pretty pleased with himself. I named him Lazarus .

Kat -- Character meals: Don't bother with Cindy's Castle. Do Ohana for breakfast, or Crystal Palace, or Chef Mickey. Other great Character meals include Liberty Tree Tavern (characters at dinner only). All of these are my favorites, I swear by them. CP and CM have character meals B, L, D.

The magnet is triangular, about 4 inches across the bottom and maybe 3 on the two sides. I have seen pics of this magnet on the DIS previously so I dont't think it is part of the Million Dreams.

kat my daughter still gets separation pangs and she has 2 kids of her own!!...i was hoping thy would come on a cruise nxt year..but sh broke the news to me yest..sh's having anothr baby..her dd is 7yrs old and ds is 5mnths old..i guess cruising is out for the nxt few years for her..

Howdy everyone,
To those of you that heard that I had lost my good jewelery ...Diamonds, Rubys, saffaires(sp) and emeralds in bracelets and earrings...well I found them.

I was putting away the luggage finally and in my Bedroom I had a carry on case sitting on my floor. Well when I went to put it away I checked inside and there they were...just sitting there waiting to be found...

I then remembered that I needed a larger carry on so I switched it out for another and in the crazyness of things did not remove my jewelery along with everything else.

Mystery solved!!! as I always say "Life is good"...

Yup. We have about 8 or 10 open bottles of different types of hot sauce in the fridge! We wanted to get to the Key West Pepper store because they have a wing sauce Dave loves. We ended up ordering it online.

Have you tried any of the spices we sent?
