12/16/06 10-day holiday cruise Part 4

Power keeps blinking on and off here. High winds. I'm freezing but it is only 45 degrees.

Playing hooky, well kinda. I have my final (I hope ) dentist appt to replace my cap at 9am. It being Wednesday and we have two hour early release each Wednesday for teacher meetings, there was no point in working, so i took a sick day to get my tooth fixed.

Parents are arriving tonight to watch the pets and house sit on the westside (they live on the eastside of the state) over the holidays. As a result I have so much to do today. I DO NOT WANT TO DO IT IN THE DARK!!!

I have to completely put away laundry, remake beds - add waterproof mattress covers, mom isn't as good as she use to be, clean off the dining table, make sure I have a list of feeding instructions for 'rents, also a list of what i have put aside for them to eat while we are gone, vaccuum whole house, run a couple of errands, etc.

Will I ever get done? Thursday I work until 3pm, DH's christmas part starts at downtown SEattle at 4pm and continues through a 8:30 christmas play. Leave for the airport at 4am Friday!!!!!!

that sounds like fun! i can't wait till we can all do that. last time while we were at disney world i looked at my mom and said, won't it be fun when one day we can all come down on a big family trip with all our kids (that's years away yet though)... then she said all the kids would get left with me, i said wait that's not fair!

I love looking at the 10 day forecasts.... today it says Saturday in Port Canaveral will be 75 degrees and occasional showers. Key West says partly cloudy and 75 for Sunday. Maybe I'd better throw in an umbrella?

Like everyone else, just trying to get everything done.

The weather for the islands don't look so great for our port days

St Martin 86 showers, St lucia 84 showers, Antigua 83 showers . Doesn't Mother Nature know I have been waiting 2 years for this cruise .

My junior does not have a final until AFTER we get back! Our semester ends 1/16.

What's a real dinner?????

Our semester ends Friday. The high school schedules things so everyone has an exam at the end of the day Friday. Control freaks!

I thought i had read about somebody having a similar swimsuit issue...

I didn't ask what a real dinner is....my definition today is cooked chicken from the grocery store deli. Usually by this point I would be saying...there is some chicken salad, ham, leftover pizza, and spheghetti in the fridge...help yourself to whatever sounds good--let's get it eaten up! Guess that's what he wanted to avoid with a guest!

Very windy here - just lost the cable on the TV. Next i'll lose the computer. They are expecting 70-90 mph winds Friday between 3-8am. Just the time we will be leaving for the airport and taking off - no delays PLEASE
