12/16/06 10-day holiday cruise Part 4

Ladies, you have GOT to see Pirates ASAP!!! It was sooooo awesome! A lot of twists and turns and things I didn't think would happen, some I predicted at the end of the last movie. We are taking Mom on Sunday afternoon so I will get to see it again soon already!!!!!!!!!!

And you HAVE to sit through the credits. The after-credits scene in this one was really good.

Can't wait to see it Will hit the Theater in about 2 weeks. Sure would be nice if the movies were still 50 cents for double feature , popcorn, soda and candythose were the days.

Have a busy day today and Michael is having his friend come over for awhile while mom has a wedding to attend. I love weddings. Need to square up some donations and head out and get them and go to another concert that Michael is having.

It is a beautiful spring day and am opening the pool this weekend. The kids will be weed pulling and car washing and helping get things ready for the summer. Life is good

Happy Memorial Day, all. Is everyone gone??? Seems like Sherrena, Robin, Joanie and I are the only ones around anymore. Occasional visits from Gary and MaryAnn.....

happy memorial day to everyone...
i hope everyones weekend was great...i had 3 days off..3 whole days off from work and i wasnt even at disney!! it seems i work, work, or vacation, vacation... it was nice to just be home...i did have a picnic wth friends and family,
and that kept me quite busy, thn went to a friends today for picnic...had a great time..but it was cut short cuz the humidity was so high my fingers all swelled and then i coulnt get my rings off, my fingers started to turn reddish purple!! i had to leave and get home..put ice on my hands, crankd up the air..took 2 advil..lathered them up and the rings pops off..it took alot of tugging, thought my skin came off with them..but they all are off now except one..i just cant get it off..wl have to lose a few pounds first..
didnt see pirates yet..i cant wait..kat glad you tld me abt staying for the credits to see that last part..i cant wait to see it..have to work tom nite till 11pm..but maybe i can see it wed nite
my dryer broke down..i have had it for abt 30 years , so broke down and purchased a new one today...lots of sales today for the holiday..

Hope you had a nice 3 days off We opened the pool today for the summer and Billie painted the inside and outside fence. It was a lot of work. Went to Home Depot and got some plants and paint for our bedroom. Tis the time to paint.

Joanie do you always swell up like that? Have you ever gotten that checked? That could have to do with your heart! Glad that you were finally able to get those rings off.

Kat you are right...we are the die hards of this thread. Everyone else has gone there merry way. Would have been nice if everyone hung in here with us

Wen I went to HomeDepot today I went in just for plants and walked out buying a new washer and dryer. Have been looking at the IG Tromm front loaders and they were offering 10% off and $179.00 off for being a water saver, and $50 off for opening a new account with 12 months free interest(will pay off since have cash first month, only opening for the 50 bucks). It came to a savings off over $500 so could not resist. Still having to pay $2300 but that is better than $2800 for something I was going to buy in a couple of months anyway.

Does anyone have these front loaders? It was between this one or Kenmore. The units are a cherry Red. I like the blue but they were more $ for almost the same thing. My model comes in Whit or Red.

Well that is how my day has been. The end of school i s getting closer and I am growing weary of all still to do. Mickey Mouse here we come!!! look forward to my trip to DL this summer. Have a rgeat week and touch base soon........

I have the Maytag front loaders that we got about 5 years ago when we moved. I love them.

Had a fairly quiet weekend. Saw Pirates again on Sunday . Want to see it again and again and again! Mom really liked it too.

Disney online shopping has the pirate crocs now. They have the regular Disney crocs too! And jibbitz has more pirate jibbitz. I want the Black Pearl one. I am also waiting to hear on the Cinderella's castle jibbitz.

Just under two months until our DL trip! Can't wait!!! And just under 2 weeks until our trip south with a stop at Sherrena's!! I wish we all lived closer to each other!!!

Be sure to keep an eye on it...the nurse in me says you should get it checked I say stay in the GrandCalifornian, you will love it. That is where we will be staying for 7 days prior our cruise in conciege level using our points. If you want to check out some of the local hotels go to Expedia.com and put in Anaheim or DL and it will bring up the close Hotels and give you prices and you can view to see what they look like also people reviews. Be sure to click Hotel only or it will give you pricing with flight. Most have transpertation to and from DL but not port. Look for ones close to the port also.

You can go into search for the DIS and ask for something like Hotels close to Port(what is the port called again)? Sure this is some because of the 2005 cruise.

Hi everyone! Kat, I just sent you an e-mail. We were gone for the whole week, not just the weekend. It was a lot of fun but with so many teenagers coming and going.

And we didn't see pirates while we were there, so we did that yesterday! Laundry can wait, right!

Today they have all left.. ...for awhile, anyhow!
