Was talking to Branden about the VA Tech shootings and informing him to be sure to let anyone know if you hear about a student threatening others...and his reply was "You mean like the girl in my class that keeps threatening me"?

It seems that there has been a girl who has been threatening Branden everyday to stab him with a Pen or Rusty spoons and other objects. He told me of this about a few months ago and told him if it happens again to let me know. Well of course he did not and I dropped the ball and somehow forgot...probably figuring in my brain that he would tell me if it happened again. Also chalking it up as a one time thing.

Well he said that she is EMO( emotionals) and they have to cut themselves 3 times inorder to get into this group of popular kids.First thing I did this morning was to contact the Counceler at the school.

I am good friends with the counceler and as I was talking the first thing she said to me was "I bet I can guess who this is without you telling me her name" I gave her the name and it was who she was guessing.

Also Branden told me that she always complains that she hated her mother because she is a drug addic....sounds like a nice girl just like the kind Id like him to bring home for me to meet...

So they are calling them into the office today and they will let me know what happens. Never a dule moment around here Ill let you know what happens!!!!

I am sad today. A former coworker of mine who is responsible for my taking my first Disney Cruise died last night. In June 2004 she was diagnosed while I was on my 2nd Disney cruise. She survived almost three years and fought a good fight but finally succumbed.

So it is a good thing I got this today because it cheered me up. In fact, I laughed so hard I nearly p**d myself!!!

The husband had just finished reading a new book entitled, "YOU CAN BE THE MAN OF YOUR HOUSE". He stormed to his wife in the kitchen and announced, "From now on, you need to know that I am the man of this house and my word is Law. You will prepare me a gourmet meal tonight, and when I'm finished eating my meal, you will serve me a sumptuous dessert. After dinner, you are going to go upstairs with me and we will have the kind of sex that I want. Afterwards, you are going to draw me a bath so I can relax. You will wash my back and towel me dry and bring me my robe. Then, you will massage my feet and hands. Then tomorrow, guess who's going to dress me and comb my hair?"

The wife replied, "The f ***** ' funeral director would be my first guess."

(But I loved the joke!) Especially since Dave pulled a stupid macho male trick last night that he is still doing penance for.

Plenty of excitement around here this week. Brian had his last surgery to have his pins removed. His bone is healed (although vulnerable.) He has to wait for his surgical incisions to heal before he can go at it 100%.

Patrick's high school is on high alert today...through the kids a rumor that somebody had threatened to attack the school today at lunchtime. Also, it is 420 day (cannibus day) and there were police and teachers roaming all over that place. They left a phone message and the principal posted a message on the web site about increased security measures, although he didn't refer specifically to the threat. I'll be glad when he gets home. Of course, he has to turn around and go to start his job training for a new McDonald's near here. He is a changed man...six months he said he wouldn't work anywhere like that. But one of his friends got a job there, and they really needed people, and he hasn't had a job before...well, you get the idea!

there you go..i tld you its addictive..you havent paid for the first points and you are already planing your next purchase!!! thats how it happens...
the bulk of my ownership is in okw..i do like it there better ,it is more private, quiet, family like, than the othrs..
i also have ownership in wilderness lodge,verobeach,saratoga, boardwalk and hiltonhead..
i love vero beach, boardwalks location is nice but very bz..saratogo too big..okw has the biggest rooms per sq foot..never been to hilton head yet, and wilderness is nice but okw is still my favorite..beachclub and boardwalk to me are more hotel-ly ..you said the othr day that points nvr change..they do change...you did understand that they do change?

kids in school today have all kinds of pressure..we need more programs for kids , not just sports minded programs..

I thought they stay the same at your Home resort? They dont???? I was told that my Saratoga Home pts will always remain the same!...do they stay the same there but change at the other resorts?

How much have you noticed them rising at other resorts/homes???

I know that they will flucuate like during Holidays like one week this year could be higher than last year but than a week that was higher last year may be lower this year....is that what you mean???

yes, within the grid they nvr change but they do change individually..they raise one a certain amount and lower anothr the same amount..like at okw it used to be around 59 or 69 points for low season in a studio, now its 80..and all the resorts change in that way..they wl raise one area and lower anothr..i guess thats how they try to control busy times and not so busy times..but i didnt realize that when i bought in..i thought it would never change at all..

WEll we have changed our vacation to 7 days DL and than 7 day cruise. Not sure if I mentioned that to ya all or not..mad cow disease ya know

I just saw on the DIS that someone else has the same posting name as me except hers is GotDisney?....she has a question mark after her name...kinda confussion hope we dont get each other in trouble.

I wish they would not have let her have the same name....I do have a message out to the WEB Master to ask about it

Sorry somebody thinks they have to be ALMOST you!

I had that happen with the "cranky" thread...the DIStroublemakers. Months ago, somebody PM'd me and said they had seen me post there. But I knew nothing about it. Somebody had used my screen name over there, spelled it the same way and everything! Again...ewwwww!

Glad all are doing well. Same here. Bri got cleared Thursday to play again. Friday he had a game and DID play, but not a whole lot. Thank goodness the coaches knew he would be rusty. He was upset, I was relieved. The doctor says that his bone is healed. Unfortunately, he is finally figuring out that his tendons and muscle aren't as strong and flexible as he remembered before the cast. Reality is tough sometimes!

Hi There everyone,

Sherrena glad to hear that he is back to playing and that he has healed. He will be up to par in no time I.m sure.

Branden has joined 24 hr fitness and loves it. He has private lessons and is lifting and doing cardio. Will try anything to get him away from the stupid comp. games

Kat, love thoses Crocs...wish my feet were not size 9-10 they make me look like a duck when I have them on. May have to try a pair of those though cause they are cute...I like the pink Mickey mouse ones, they are my fav...

Well back out to cleaning the pool and filter and such. Getting the pool ready for summer. Will let ya know what happens with the same name poster...matter of fact just got a message from the WebMaster Doc....


EDIT: Well Webmaster syas that nothing they can do and that accually someone can come in and use my exact name "Got Disney" and there is nothing they can do unless that person viloates the boards.

Sherrena so strange that someone would just think of your name....seems to be it was done on purpose. Hope that soes not turn out to be what happens in my case.

Hi gaRRy long time no see...hope your well and no did not see the sunset but did smell the flowers ,I did gardening all day and got the pool ready for summer

Hope your all having a good day. Im sitting here with my coffee in my mug from our Dec cruise...I'm gearing up for next summer

That 7 days is going to go sooooo fast that by the time Iget my sea legs it will be time to get off. Will just have to be sure that we get tiered out from DL.

Talking about DL Kat you still going/coming? How is your Dh doing is he doing anything about his health issue or still in denial? Men...some times ya just want to shake them up and shout STAP OUT OF IT!!!!

I can't wait for summer, I love summer. I am going to start painting and such also. need a few fix me up's in my house and than we will be ready to Rock and Roll.

The PTA swim/pool party is here again this year. We usually have a total of at least 70 kids and adults, it's alot of fun and everyone chips in and when they all leave my house is back in order. We have great people on our PTA!!!

Robin, yes, we are still coming. I already paid for our airline tickets so we will be there!! I am sorry you guys won't be there when we will as I'd love to see you all again.

No, DH is still in denial, of course!

I like the warmer weather of summer but I don't get any time off like DH and DD do. He is giving finals this week than has two online classes to teach this summer. He will be working part time but on his schedule so he can take days off and will not work 5 days a week anyway.

Kat, I see new crocs in your future!

I'm fine with my Mickeys for now...a girl can only use so many Disney themed red and black crocs at a time!

Bri is still playing Lacrosse...he has a couple of weeks left in the season. LONG season, huh? He hurt himself the second weekend, was out eight weeks and is still back in time to finish out the season. (Much to my dismay.)

I'm looking forward to Summer too! Have been working on getting my flowers switched out...We head to the beach for a week with friends the day after the kids get out of school, which is also the day pirates comes out. We're SO ready to go! My kids have four weeks of school left...can you believe it? Brian and Kevin are wrapping up their year after they finished testing last week. Now the field trips and field days start! For Patrick, things just get serious...exams and finals.

joanie & Robin - see you finally got your points. They did some calculating onthe repo thread when they came out and it was determined that the point schedule was coming in at about the 2nd or 3rd tier priceing (for the repo anyway). Sorry you couldn't do the back to back, Robin. That would have been very cool . We are going to do a week in DL before our cruise in Aug '08. If you are around, I'd love to meet up for a drink with you.
