Good morning everyone! Glad your family made it home safe Susan! Ah, good old I-90. I've lived near I-90 at both ends. I grew up in Western Massachusetts about 15 minutes from I-90 and I lived in Spokane for 9 months with a view of I-90 from my apartment!

My brother is travelling still...he was on the road yesterday from New York state, heading this way. He is supposed to arrive mid-morning. I won't be able to see him until this evening, though. I work and then have a hair appointment so won't get to see him until after that . And then he leaves tomorrow night!

Susan I'm glad your family made it...slept right through the whole thing....

My family doesn't start back to school until January 4...which is nice, because we're going to stop by WDW for a couple of days after the cruise, get home, and still have a few days before they start back. DS16 will also take his driving test one of those days....

It seems weird to have you guys in a snowstorm, because for the last 5 or so days we've had the most gorgeous weather....60s and sunny....but the rain is coming...and by next week it could be really cold...or not. Our weather tends to jump around a lot in the Winter.

Well, busy day today...got a lot of stuff to catch up on...meeting about project....checks to write...etc. Brian (DS14) made his feeder Lacrosse team (but not two of his best friends) but now I immediately owe $150 for team stuff, have to order a $125 helmet, and the second $100 installment payment for his field trip to Savannah is due at the end of this week....does he really NEED a Christmas gift too?

No school! No school!


It's a snow day. Even my husband has off - and he's been on the computer all morning so I couldn't. No school!~

As a teacher I did get the "call" at 4:15 am that school was called but I just rolled over and went back to sleep.

DD is in luck she had to read 6chapters of Moby Dick last night and fell asleep - now she has all day to do it.

-----and clean!!!! kids are home so I can put them to work

No school here either. I hope mother nature gets this snow thing out of her system before the cruise. I don't want to worry about broken, frozen pipes while we are cruising. Tell me again! Just relax. Breathe, everything will be fine.

Hi Angela... yes, it will be fine! Fortunately we have someone to house and pet-sit for us. They will be there until DB gets in closer to Christmas.

I do not envy any of you the snow! I much prefer the unusually warm weather we are having. Supposed to be in the 60's again today! Not normal, but I like it .

16yr old id fighting getting up and completing the chores she was suppose to complete last Sunday.

...never seems to complete her jobs

No everything just looks white...I am getting very tired of all the weather out here. usually we just exist. Nothing special, nothing to write home about. But in the last 4 weeks we seem to be getting the brunt of all the nations weather.
