Okay so am I the OLD LADY of this group...age 48 soon to be 49?

Feel young at heart... like 46.... lol

Thanks to having such young kids they help keep me feel so young and

I can't stay away from the Holloween Candy today...Help

:furious: :furious: :furious:

Well, I am glad I checked Delta! The changed our flights AGAIN!!!!! :furious: Now we are getting in at 10:44 pm instead of 10:00pm. Originally we had a non-stop flight into Orlando. Now we would have to leave at 7:00am to do that but since DH has a final to give that morning we can't do that. Ugh. And again, they didn't notify me. I used to be very loyal to Delta but I feel the love slipping away.....

We love you Garry, (oh yes we do) :cool1: And by the way, is it true that everything looks worse in black and white?

Yes, Robin, before Garry you were the old lady--and before you it was me! Now, at the very youthful age of 46, I'm feeling like a Spring chicken! (I turn 47 later this year--but did I already mention my husband is 47 now.... :) )

Kat & Jen - I know you guys mentioned before about getting the discount...I'm not sure why we didn't and you did. All's I know is when I re-booked while I was on the cruise in 2004 I asked if my price included the discount and I was told there were none available for the specialty cruises :confused3 . But hey, I'm glad you guys could get one :thumbsup2

I gave up on Delta after my Easter trip. Everything worked out for us in the end but they pulled some pretty sleezy stunts, IMO, and caused me alot of grief in the months leading up to our vacation.

Jen, let's hope they change the shuttle launch and we get to wave at it from the sailaway party!

(Hey, could happen!)

My Dh is 53...but at times acts like he is....well will leave it at that... :rotfl2:

just got off the phone with disney...we aren't getting to orlando until 1pm which means we won't be on the ship until 2:00-2:30 pm AHHHH!!!!

We have a late arrival also...We wont be leaving WDW till around 11:30 so wont get to port till about 12:30 so wont board till around 1-1:30...

Also got a call by the way from DCL...I had faxed over a fax to them telling them that I want to book for the 2008...so they called to bok me and told them that I am waiting for the summer crusie...Special cruise so they said that they will call me as soon as it comes out.

They said that they will call me before or day of that it comes out. They have the 2008 from Jan-April but nothing special or Jan-April. That will be for May on-She said they are waiting for that anouncement.

yes on the last 10 day we said to the rep "We want the christmas cruise of 2006" we went on the Booking list (even suites were filled at that time)...and we had our room numbers and everything like that when we left the ship. It wasn't "official" but it was booked. When the dates came out a month later it became official. But from what you say...it sounds like it could be a while before the 2008 dates are "official"

I remember black and white television. It wasn't pretty.

With all this talk about airlines, I checked mine again...
Well this is the 3rd time they have changed us.
We were leaving from Orlando after the cruise at 3:13 but know we leave at 1:40 pm. We however leave earlier from MCO but have the wait in Charlotte instead and still get home the time we sould have originally.

For the life of me I can never figure out why they feel that interupting peoples flights ( unless due to weather) is okay with them. :confused3 Would much rather hang out at MCO and shop instead of Charlotte.

O well lets hope that they dont keep changing us to early that we miss our flights!!!! okay on the way there but not a big deal because we will be going to WDW first.

charlotte is my favorite airport for hanging out. I love MCO because i ride around on the monorails when we are stuck there a long time. I go back and forth and don't get off. And i repeat the Disney Monorail message. "Please stand clear of the doors. Por favor mantenganse alejado de las puertas" i have had that memorized since i was very young lol!

They change flight schedules, change equipment, do away with some flights, add others. It is really annoying. And they don't care if they inconvenience their customers but god forbid if the customer decides to change schedules. Then WE have to pay to do it. They don't have to reimburse us if they change our schedule!

How true that is...when I asked about what would happen if they changed it to where I would miss it,due to the Holiday season, the day after christmas there are no flights avalible she said 'that is right" and I said so that means we could be stuck there for a couple of days waiting for a flight and she said"Yes" you could, I thought Gee thanks alot for the hospitality.

But as you mentioned if we miss the flight we have to pay a fortune to get
another flight out. :sad2:
