Morning everyone...well still morning here anyway :)
Yes the cruise is right on top of us...we leave for WDW 5 days earlier,on the 11th. Still can't seem to get together everything I need. Seem to be procrastinating for some silly reason :confused3

Shelly here is a link to look at another place that your teen can hang out for ages 10-14 called "Ocean Quest. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=948596&referrerid=&highlight=Ocean+quest

also if you go into the search and type in "the Stack" or just "Stack" you can find a bunch of threads and concerned parents as you that have questions about it...I also had questions because mu Ds wisll be 13 within 30 days after the cruise so he would be eligable to go in there but decided to wait due to haveing the Ocean Quest. Hope this helps

Thanks so much, I will keep working on her (I am more persistant than she is, ha ha). Oh by the way, you live outside Atlanta? We live in the western NC mountains (near Asheville). I love Atlanta, I would live there in a minute and we head that way as much as we can to get a city fix. El Azteca has some great mexican food.

Continuing with the small world theme. DW's mom lives in Hendersonville. (Used to live in Asheville) after moving from Atlanta.

Never cared for El Azteca that much, probably because I ate too much of it while in college since they had a student discount. Used to like Rio Bravo, but they went downhill, then out of business.

anybody still here?

I'll be here an hour later because I am boycotting the return from DST (just kidding). I really hate that it will be dark by the time I get home tonight...

O thanks for reminding me about Amazing race!!!!

Ok, off-topic from the cruise, but is anyone else sick of the non-eliminations? I mean, I kind of like Kentucky (although I am just sick of the wife now), but they ought to make a rule that you can only be the beneficiary of the NEL once.

At least they can't FF their way to first this time.

Am I talking to myself?

Again?

Apparently.

And answering myself too.

What, are all you people WORKING or something? AND isn't that the best time to be surfing?

As for Amazing race ...I Concure!!!!!! Eliminatation is great as long as it's not the couple that I want to win...everyone else can be eliminated :happytv:

I agree completely about Rio Bravo--Applebees bought it then ruined it. We do live in the Atlanta suburbs, but don't really have an El Azteca nearby. There are muchos Mexican restaurantes though, so we "make due!" :) All of this talk about Mexican food made me decide to fix that for dinner tonight--could go out, but will probably do that Thursday (another family birthday.)

That area is beautiful, the smokies are so pretty. Of course, we don't get there often. When we get away, we mostly head toward the :beach:

Today I feel spoiled. Our weather is perfect, and as I drive down my street I look at a hill covered with the most gorgeous Fall colors anywhere. I could almost pretend to be in the smokies....

It was chilly this morning but I haven't been out since I got to work. Haven't had a chance to take lunch yet so I will leave early instead.

I don't watch The Amazing Race so I have no clue what you are talking about :confused3 , oh well. About the only thing I watch anymore is House and occasionally Extreme Makeover Home Edition.

Went to the Disney Store yesterday. That was disappointing. They were going to be putting the Christmas stuff out last night so there wasn't really anything like that out yet and most of what they did have out in other things was princesses, everywhere!! DD has outgrown the princesses and they had hardly anything in adult sizes for women so I left with nothing :(. They had an awesome POTC snowglobe with Dave Jones and The Flying Dutchman was inside the globe but it was $70! Oh well, have to go back sometime closer to Christmas I guess. It is about an hour from here so I don't get to go as often as I'd like.
