The design is perfect--even my DH and my boys, who don't get nearly as excited about this stuff as I do, thought it was very cool--enough that they all wanted shirts!

By the way Denise, you were looking for a list of everyone on the boards--Jen has been maintaining that on the website referenced in her signature. She said she hasn't updated the ship diagram in awhile, but just updated the list--right, Jen?

Jen, can you please email me the shirt back? I may have to do my own due to unforeseen expenses. DH's little trip to the Mayo clinic last month came to just over $4000 and the insurance isn't even going to cover quite half! So if we still want to do the cruise (which we do) we have to cut back on some
of the incidental expenses . Since I already have plain white t-shirts that means doing those on my own rather than buying them from cafe press . No pirate costumes, etc. Oh well, we will still have fun!

On the positive side, I found my black t-shirt finally! On sale at Kohl's for $5!!!!! Hurray! So now to print my Jack Sparrow iron-on and get the shirt done.

Please let me know how many cable ties to bring for the stockings and can we do a tally of how many people are on this dis board - I have something I want to distribute in the stockings.

Not sure yet. I probably won't have a final count until around Thanksgiving. Right now I have 21, but then there are about 10 people we haven't heard from in a while that I have PM'd who haven't responded to me yet, one who is still deciding, and someone on Jen's list who I haven't even seen on our board! I will send out a final PM just before Thanksgiving. At that point I will have stocking leftover. I will bring those and the paints with me and if those folks are on the cruise and want stockings we can get them together for them but I am probably not going to get anymore than I already have at this point.

Kat, thanks to Jen's design you'll have an awesome shirt no matter how it is made. Plus, I think you're pretty comfortable doing the iron-on thing. You'll have a great shirt with a great picture for pirate night, and none of the rest matters more than taking care of whatever was necessary at the Mayo Clinic.

But don't you love those insurance companies....

I said I had neon colored tywraps (spelling) I tested them and they hold upto 40lbs without coming apart - in fact they don't come apart they break.

I will bring my pack of 500. We are in room 5524!

Wow, go away a couple of days and you guys got busy! Hope everyone love life continues to be fine, that everyone is well or getting better. Looks like lots of things getting finalized for our fabulous cruise, can't wait!!

Well, he had to go for tests and they told him absolutely nothing we didn't know already so he isn't exactly happy with them. And since they aren't on our PPO list the insurance company will only cover 50% after the deductible is met and he hadn't met his for the year yet. Plus he had to pay for hotel, etc.

Yeah, it is a good picture, isn't it???? Now to get it on the shirt. And if I can get the other design I will do those too. I did a great shirt for myself recently with a picture of the figurehead from the Black Pearl that I love to wear. No one knows what it is but I do.

i update the list right away because its an automatic thing...the diagrams i have to draw in photoshop and take a bit longer...I removed the excrusion list for now because it was causing my other columns to act goofy...i will type it in by hand later...

Thanks, Jen! I just printed my Jack Sparrow one. I have to let the ink dry, then see how it looks before I try to iron it on. Hopefully it will work ok, keep your fingers crossed!!!! then I will look at doing these. I got the iron on paper the other day so we will see what happens.

It is Sunday so I have to go finish my weekly slaying of the monster. Later...

Thanks Jen...the back of the shirt. I would like it without the writing so I can make one for friends that are traveling with us.

I have been playing on my comp. all day making signs and also small magnets of all the christmas Disney characters. It has been fun. Still have my headach and it hurts when I type so that is why I have not been on.

My signs and magnets look great. Have made the magnetic Mickie ears in black but for christmas need to figure out how to make them red...still working on that. Have not read all the posts from today but will try to catch up later....have a great night ..

the map was hand made (map and then each star was added by hand and then each location title)...so i might not be able to send you just the map

We were in the hot tub coming up with ideas and taking the map and turning it into a old pirate map seemed like a cool idea.

um well the map is going to be hard to pull out. My best advice is to just get a map that has all the islands listed and make it from there. I hand made mine so the colors matched.

Well let me tell you about insurance. I went to a Preferred Provider Hospital (ER) for my leg. Which I went to that hospital because of its PP status, otherwise, I would have sought out better. Well the bill came in, my insurance company went ahead and paid at 80%. However, this doctor at the PP Hospital had not completed all of his paper work and therefore charged $175 more than the insurance company would allow for. So while they as a "courtesy" paid at the higher rate of 80% but only of the allowed charges. So my bill that should have been around $120 is close to $300. What is even crazier is that my bill for my "specialist" came in SAME deal. Except what really stinks about that is I asked my doctor to refer me to PP doctor. He did. The office is PP but this "specialist" is also a new doctor that has not contracted with our insurance yet. Even though the rest of the office is contracted. HOW IS A PATIENT SUPPOSED TO KNOW THIS!! When you go to a PP office or hospital the ER doctors working there should accept the insurance of the patient or disclose prior to service that they are not. Luckily, the "specialist" was fantastic and wrote the part off that the insurance company would not pay. We have not been so lucky yet with the ER Doctors billing company. The Hospital is on it too as there are several other patients with the same issue. Not even in the reception area is there a sign that states that you may be seen by a non participating doctor. That is ridiculous. Even in the fine print when you sign that if your insurance won't pay the patient is responsible does it disclose that NOT all doctors working in the ER are participating.
