Hi

Ok - about the ornament thing- I would love to particpate and it looks like we still don't have anyone to take this bull by the horns. So I am going to ask (hopefully I won't regret this). What is involved in organizing the ornament exchange. How does it work - I am a newbie at this.

I might be swayed in organizing the exchange if I can have a co-hort to help - maybe someone who knows how to do this or if anyone would be willing to give me information of what is involved.

Denise
I don't know how much is involved in organizing. I think we just need a place (didn't someone suggest something earlier that had worked in the past?) and a time/day. I can help that day with the logistics of how the thing works. My bunco group does this each year at our Holiday get-together, and if we can pull it together on that night..well, let's just say it can be done even if the rum is gone! :rotfl2:

It is so much more fun gaining weight then loosing weight. Great job Jen! I had a total of 15 lbs to loose so have lost 5 but the last 10 is not cooperating...how dare it do that!
I go on my eliptical for 30 minutes a day at home so I guess will need to pick up the pace. I'm okay being a little over weight, just refuse to go out and buy alot of new clothes (some new yes) when I have a closet full of clothes that will work for the cruise just fine.
Geesh...seems all I can think about is Cruise...cruise...cruise...

i did it by just not eating lol....i will go on the cruise and become round and plump again...lol

I hear you Robin. DH said he doesn't want to hear about the cruise any more for a while! that's why I hang out in here so much with you like minded folks!

I'd love to lose 10-15 pounds but it just isn't going to happen so I don't worry about it, don't need the stress. I have clothes that fit so I'll just go with what I have and stress over other things instead. :lmao:

I'd say let's go for the shirts on cafepress, the regular white and ringer t-shirts for the guys, kids and gals who like that style, and the ladies' style in white for those like me who prefer a slightly more feminine style t-shirt. How does that sound to everyone? The sooner we get that decided the sooner we can get them going on getting them ready and we can make sure that we each have them by the time we cruise in 2 months!!!! I can't believe that two months from tomorrow (!) is the day we leave for Orlando!!!! :woohoo:

i agree..cafe press!!! lol..I will need the specifics of the format of the pictures and stuff...and how high def you need them

Jen,
I noticed that you changed your "saying" under your name. :)

Dee, no, I just had to get going to work!

The ship on the green? ewwww. Maybe it's just their picture of the shirt but it makes the ship and the sky look green too. I can't wear that green anyway so it definitely wouldn't be my choice! What about the custom women's t-shirt? That is the style I'd want. The junior's sizes are too small and I prefer the slightly more fitted women's shirts to the standard men's shirts. If we could add that one in the white I'd be cool with that.

I like the more fitted "Womans" shirt also...if these are our only choices I like the black/white cap sleeve t-shirt. Seens to be the only fitted. Does it really matter if we pick the same style T...some like fitted some dont i'm guessing? :confused3

fitted for me because i like to show off my figure lol HAHAH!;) :rotfl2:

Did any one notice that Jen and I are only 1 cabin away from each other...we will be neighbores...she is 6570-6568. we are 6564...we have one cabin that seperates us. lol Jen we can wave to each other from our balconys... :thumbsup2 is any one else also close to each other?

Angela's group (fabulusk) is separating by Rick and his family (Palatka_cruisers)...lol..

I know...we can discuss plans too! haha...

I think we are looking at the plain white or the ringer (white with either blue or black collar and sleeve rings) for men or women who prefer that style, or the more fitted solid white for women.

Okay I am back...we won the football game by 1 point, both there team and ours have been undefeated...it was a great game. Wet and muddy also. :thumbsup2

Welcome DB and JB  glad you found us!!! you'l love your DC pirate:

So as for door signs:
Jen....I have been working on my door sign and want to know if there is something that I should be adding in regaurds to your Thread? Is there anything that we are all having the same of on our signs? I know that on the door we will have those wonderful Stockings...should I add anything else?

Shirts...I am game for anything but the iron on seems to be the easiest.

Ornaments are we doing this yes or no cause I would like to start looking...stilll time to decide however.

Also about the door signs...this is my first one...yes my first. Have always admired the sighns and thought it was neat but never did. Thanks to you guys and these boards I know feel like I belong...lol... :worship: :jumping1:
so does the type of magnetic paper matter?

So I am going to go eat. Have been watching my weight so I can fit into last years cruise cloths. I just have about 10 lbs to loose but man everytime I see bufflo wings, pizza.nachoes and cheese well I can go on and on. I just say I will be able to eat what ever I want on the cruise. My body just wants to hold onto these 10 lbs. So another Lean cuisine it is...lol... :teeth:

Catch ya later popcorn:: mmmm popcorn
Robin
These questions? lol

ah well just put that you are from the DIS boards..i've never made one either

My wife Julie and I are booked and paid up for our first Disney cruise and this is it, the 12/16 Holiday cruise!! :cool1: . We'll have our two grandaughters in tow, Makayla(8) and Taylor(2). Looks like a great thread going here so we hope to be posting regularly. First question I've got is when is Pirates Night on this cruise? Makayla is excited about that for starters.

Welcome. We went on our first Disney cruise last December and totally fell in love with cruising especially with Disney. Your granddaugthers will love it. What a special place for them to spend Christmas. We have an 8 year daughter, Catryna, so maybe they will see each other in the kids' centre.

Take care and see you very soon.

hey Sandra! haven't seen you around for a while
