Torrid? Never heard of it. Maybe I'll have to dig around on line. Thanks!

I've seen shirts that were similar in the gift shops at the parks. (Especially the ones at the Pirate attractions.)

I think a ladies night sounds fun too! party: Although it may be dry--there may not be any rum left by then! Today with the tennis guy thing got uglier than expected...it's a neighborhood thing, so the HOA board is under fire, accusations, blah, blah, blah. I should probably be more excited but we went through the same thing a few years ago....a lot of energy spent and no different result.

I want to go to the :beach: and stay until it is all sorted out and everyone wants to be nice again! Instead, every time I logon there is a new round of e-mails about it all! :badpc:

It sounds like you're still working on the kid thread...let us know when to do it--and thanks for being "it!"

And Jen, I should have guessed you were a C/S major--who better to start a thread and do a little website, complete with Disney-esque music to keep people updated!

Definately in for ladies night. :thumbsup2 :cool1: We should pick a night a plan it. Where and when? You veterans will have to do that. Just let me know.

Dee, :)
Any luck with your Keith yet starting up the thread...also did you read my other suggestion on it ?
Robin

Ok, ladies, maybe I'm crazy. I got curious and decided to try and see if I could find the Unicorn in the previews for the 2nd movie since I can't just pull it off the shelf yet. No luck so far......

Jen, how do you get a thread extra-moderated???

email the board mods...i don't know IF they can do it..i know i could do it if i had access to the board's codes...but if they don't know coding they might not be able to do it.

I found it. Unfortunately all they have are junior sizes and even the XL would run snug on me :( . Thank you, though! I will keep looking!!! Never give up, I say!

Good Morning all!!

Calling for a very stormy day here in Toronto.

Count me in for a ladies night as well! :cool1:

Are there any DVC members going on this cruise and if so have you been before when you were a DVC member. Is there a DVC member reception at every cruise or only on select ones?

Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Denise

i still can't believe its october already...i guess because its still 70 here in NC...normally we might have snow in PA

:furious: That's quite enough with the four-letter words. ;)

I have banned anyone in my house from even mentioning the 's' word. It is only October and I refuse to allow winter to come yet.

That's one of the reasons for this cruise, isn't it? To get away from the dreaded S* word?? :rotfl: I hate that stuff. We tend to get a lot of the monsoon type winters here and we are thinking we may be in for one of those this year, at least we hope so.

So I am assuming that everyone still on the board is paid in full, yes? yargrnhoj? We heard that Holly and Heidi ARE joining us (hurray!).

Who haven't we heard from lately?? booksw? Fantasia Sam? Juletime? Magicalfam5? J&BDisney? fast43? The Land and Sea Guy? Nejthelion? Where are you guys????

Hello everyone,

I'm still here. Been paid in full for quite some time. Booked my favorite excursion--Captain Nautica in St. Thomas. Flight time was pushed back to arrive after 11 p.m. Friday night, but they let me change it for free to an earlier time. Now we'll arrive at 6 p.m.

Been busy with the kids. Homecoming is this weekend. Two of my kids are going. The youngest isn't going because their school doesn't allow freshmen to go to the homecoming dance.

Supposed to get nasty storms this afternoon then temps drop into the 50's. We will have sun and a slight warm up for the homecoming game and dance this weekend though.

Judy

Morning all,

Sorry I didn't get Keith online yesterday -- things got crazy after school and in the evening we had tix to see Cirque du Soleil's Delerium -- OMG, if it's anywhere in your neck of the woods, RUN to see it! It's amazing!

So I'll get him on it this afternoon. Promise! Sorry for the delay! :guilty:

As long as it does not happen on December 15. We fly out of O'Hare, and flights are cancelled there for no reason at all, so a s***storm would be very, very bad. I was stranded in Dallas and Pittsburgh last December on back-to-back weeks due to 'weather' in Chicago.

For some time now, yes. My job situation is shaky (whose isn't?) so sending the money to Disney prevents me from chickening out because things are uncertain.

that's normally why we do it...plus its really hard to dive in the dead of winter...

LOL, I hear you! I don't want ANY storms then! We are flying in that Friday night too, from Indianapolis. We get in late, though, crash at the hotel and head for the port the next morning after breakfast.

Yeah, I got ours paid about a week before the magical 90 day mark! Got our excursions booked and have been dumping all my pocket change, rebate checks, etc into a vacation account for spending money. We have money in a shipboard account already for booking the cruise onboard and I paid the cruise off with a Disney Visa card which I have used for other things over the last two years so that gives us spending money as well. By the time we cruise I think we will have put aside enough with the rewards, pocket change and what we got for booking onboard that all our excursions, tips, etc should be covered. I sure hope so anyway! The less out of pocket at the time of the cruise, the better!
