When is the date all final payments are due? Just curious as that is the date when we should know who likely is and isn't going, yes?

Any word from Holly or Heidi?

its today

and I have to fit the horse in again in the evening. It's not going to kill him it is going to kill me. He is starting to heal though so I am feeling some what optimistic.

My DS10 was born in Atlanta, where my wife lived all her life before I made a Yankee out of her by moving us to Chicago a few years ago. So our sons already have something in common.
Oh, we are transplants from Kansas City where my first DSs were born, but youngest was born 10 years ago this month at Northside. They do have something in common!

he's driving...i always worry when he drives to his mom's house because he does it at night and he's been up since 10 (since i woke him up)...

i did well...placed 5th out of 200 in the reining...did well in the freestyle (which is just like freestyle ice skating lol)..we did the whole pattern bridleless

WOW!!! that is so awesome!!!! Mostly riding another horse!!!! I miss riding and compeating in Events so much!!!! I keep telling myself that I will take the time to ride but life always gets in the way. So busy with the kids and school and there events, just never seem to get there as much as I would like. DH still trying to talk me in to getting couple of horses but he does not understand that a horse takes a lot of time...an everday thing...and I get very involved and love my horses to death. Would be a great thing for me though
Also did you touch base with your boyfriend? did he make it to his Moms alright? hope all is well with him!!!

I'm still obsessing about not being a pirate: . I was able to stew about it on the way to Middle School (had to take DS because he forgot paperwork for an important overnight field trip with deadline of TODAY!), :furious: whine to my workout friends (who basically said, shut up, you get to go on a cruise), and check the website on the Brig Unicorn while I was on the phone with someone trying to set up my son's tennis team's weekly match.

The website talks about the cruise, but it looks like the non-Disney version is an all-day thing. It also costs $90 per adult (which I'm assuming includes my teenagers.) I'm probably just going to check periodically with DCL and figure out a backup plan.

I guess I have to put my obsession away for awhile now too. I guess the boys will get plenty of pirate: exposure, and I'll have to find rum punch elsewhere :drinking1 I think I'm up to the task!

Horse people, I don't understand any of your lingo, but it sounds like things went well, so congrats! :thumbsup2

Off on my next set of "to dos."

yeah this horse was amazing...did the whole pattern bridleless after several mistaps during practice...lol...apparently for this horse the command for slow down and stop is not the same as i am used too...i must have told him to stop while in position for a slow down...ouch! i always think i never ride enough...especially here in school...lol...

No haven't heard from steve yet but he's probably sleeping still...or working on the chores he drove up there for...

Why did you not compete in the events with your horse?

Angela,
Glad to here that he is healing....hard when they get injured. I remember when one of my horses started to go blind :sad1: I had eye surgery on him and he was layed up for about 2 weeks and his eyesight after surgery(which was not cheep) was great :) How I love my animals...even our gold fish lol. :thumbsup2

Including being born at the same hospital two months apart. You can start humming "It's a small world.." any time now.

Angela and 3pirates, have you looked into the Doubloon Sail and snorkel tour on St. Thomas? That is also Pirate themed and might do for your pirate hungry kids.

she's not trained enough to compete on this scale...she'll probably never be good enough for this type of event...she will be good enough for the speed events at Congress in a couple of years...i don't want to push her...

Do they have a bathroom on the Unicorn?

umm...um...*thinks real hard*...i'm honestly not sure...i know they do at the place you go...they may have a head on the boat though..i never used it so i'm not sure

That's a good idea--we had kinda ruled it out because the "Brig" sounded better, but we were thinking a snorkel trip might be fun--maybe that's the one!

OK, the dumb thing won't delete--sorry for the double message--I got an error, so I re-posted! :badpc: :badpc:

Hi Jen and all my Holiday friends. All is well here, I hope the same for you. Jeanne and I are not cruising with you this year. We will miss you and think of you often. Jeanne and I were on the 11 night Wonder, Sept 17 - 28, and had a great cruise. Now we have found an 11 night Christmas cruise for 1/2 of DCL on Holland America and we will be sailing with them. I will stop by when I can to see how you all are.

Enjoy, Sue

Great idea--we ruled that one out because the "Brig" sounded better, but we did want to do a snorkel tour--maybe that will work.

OK, let's see how small the world really is--what part of Atlanta were you living in when your child was born at Northside? We were sorta in Alpharetta--East of 400.
