I emailed Belle Chavel Stables. They provide the excursions for Disney. I had touched base with them several months ago and she stated that it was $55 person. So I just recently emailed her again to see if they are still doing it and if Disney is just sold out. I will keep you posted.

there was never any horseback riding listed....there hasn't been since about July.....

Hmm...July would probably be about the last time I checked the excursions list for St. Lucia. Well that's disappointing...maybe I can just do it on my own? I'd kill someone if I had to miss this excursion two cruises in a row!

alot of things are disappearing of the litss. You can no longer rent Jetskis unless you go on the eco tour at castaway cay. Some of the excursions at St. Maarten are gone and some are added. St. Thomas had a lot of things changed. And the horseback riding is gone from St. Lucia. I hadn't seen it up there for months so i was always confused as to what you all were talking about.

Yeah, I am hoping our dollar theatre gets it soon. We have casual day at work all week for customer support week and one of th guys at work is so into talk like a pirate day that on talk like a pirate day he gets into the talk like a pirate thing so much he tries to get people to talk like a pirate thing so much he tries to get people to dress like pirate thing too. One year he actually had a dress like a pirate contest! I am going wear my POTC T-shirt today. Any you should see my office!! DH just shrugs his shoulders at me at that one!

I did and haven't heard anything back. No openings on their site either, I just checked. I was going to call today but did not have time. I need to try to do that tomorrow if I have time.

St Lucia won't even open for me. I booked a few more things today but that section won't show a thing for me. I think they may be having some issues with the site.

All I get is St, Maarten, a few in St Thomas and Castaway Key. Either they are indeed having problems or almost EVERYTHING is booked. That will make the 1st timers very upset I imagine. Hopefully I will have time to try to call them today.

Gotta get to the bank and get cash for my trip this weekend too. Off to the great northwest. I won't be around from Thursday evening until sometime Tuesday as my brother and I are going with my dad up to Vancouver, BC to celebrate Dad's 75th brithday this weekend. His birthday was actually a couple of weeks ago, but hey.....

I got information from the Grand Pineapple Beach on Antigua on their Day Passes for anyone who was interested.

Is the link to the site with the day pass info. It is $50 (US) per person + gratuities for the 9a-6p, or $45 per person + gratuities for the 10:30a-6p. Childredn 3-11 are $25 and children 12-15 are $35. Plus there is still transportation to and from. And the ship is supposed to depart at 6:30 so one would definitely want to leave well before 6p to make sure we got back to the ship well on time!

It looks like it is at least a 10-15 or so mile taxi ride and I have no idea what the fares or travel time would be on that.... but it's a start on the info anyway.....

Okay to make organization simpler i am going to remove the island column from the list (since it was used to pass the time) and replace it with an excursions column. I am going to put the excursions each family is doing along with the times. That way we can see who is going where and when.

If DH goes off and does something Sam might be into it, but I just don't know yet. I might just wander a bit in port. At this point we are spending an awful lot on excursions so I may have to sit out any big expenses on at least on island.... I will let you know. Mostly I was just posting the info for anyone who was interested.

We were wanting the silicone bracelets though...two small size (I have tiny wrists) and one adult. Don't know if DH will actually wear it or not but I am going to get him one anyway!

I contacted DCL this morning. I was told there is a glitch in the online booking system. If you book Palo first it often blocks out other ressies and the is likely what happened with the scuba excursions. They are going to see what they can do and I am supposed to check back on my reservation this afternoon. Hmmmmm. They said there should be a lot more showing as open that what I am seeing, she even looked under my reservation and was very surprised at how little was showing as available and said that was not right. I will let you know what happens.

We are trying to get a ressie booked, but nobody will contact us back. I will give you the numbers if you wanna try Kat. There are 3 shops right in the town we dock at.

and Kat, that sounds like a big excuse that DCL gave you...I ONLY booked shore excursions, and still didn't see anything

Actually, I think this did happen to me......

After I booked Palo's, I could not bring up St Lucia...only Western Ports came up as an option for me. It was really wierd. I had to log out and after I went back in I could see what I was supposed to see .

I read about people having trouble booking on-line all the time on the main boards. Hey...I wonder if you posted some of the problems you are having over there, someone might shed a little light with thier own experience????

that yes i can see that happening...but when you don't book Palo before hand and things still don't show up...then THAt is the excursions either sold out or not existing

DCL got DH added for St. Lucia. Nothing yet on St. Maarten but as long as Jen's folks are getting the one setup for Key West that makes 3 and he will be happy.
