OKAY ???? 's for everyone one that wants to cruise alaska????

I heard starting in 2007 a new TAX voted on by the people WHO live there?

$50.00 PER CRUISE PASSENGER ???????????????????????????

TRUE

OR

NOT ???????????????????

gaRRy

I don't know if it's true or not, but I would pay it to DCL in a heartbeat if they cruised there and the dates fit for me.

Well, broke down and got myself a pair of silver crocs today. They are the same size as Sam's!!! I still want to see what the Disney ones look like and I would love to have a pair of the primas but the only place around here that had them didn't have them in my size, oh well.

Don't think I've seen silver ones. Congrats on your new purchase.

Well, the new computer is going back, so I will be MIA until we can get the replacement up and running :furious: .

Yep, did the same today too, Kat. I'd like to say it feels great to have it paid off, but actually, just put it on the CC and still won't be paid off for a few months

As far as the shirts, I'll go with what ever everyone decides. I'm in for an adult large. Just post the cost and I'll mail payment right away.

Sandra, congrats on your new job and on your 25th. What a great way to celebrate.

The Santa Scoop; Yes, Santa does hand out gifts to the children on Christmas Morn. Last year it was from 9:30AM - 11AM. I have to warn you, the last two times I cruised for Christmas, the line was very long. Goes past the end of Lumieres, down to the Gingerbread House, sometimes into the lounge area. For those that want to get off the ship early for CC, I would suggest to get in line at least 1/2 before the posted start time. Once it is your turn, you visit with Santa, get an age appropriate gift, photo op and that's it. Pretty quick once your turn has arrived.
I got my picture with Santa on Christmas Eve and there wasn't really a line at all. They tried to give me a CD case as my gift but I wanted the visor, they just insisted that I would get one in "the Stack". So I took the CD case and then I decided I really didn't want the stupid thing cause I wouldn't use it. I took it back and said I wanted the visor and they asked me if I was sure...so I told them I didn't hang out in the stack. I think the one crew member was going to have a heart attack she was so shocked. :rotfl:

Hi All - I have been looking at the excursions and am feeling alittle overwhelmed. Any recommendations for first timers? Also, I thought they had horseback riding at St. Lucia but I cannot find it now. HELP!! We can't book until the 75 day mark but I am trying to figure out what is fun and what we shouldn't miss.

One other question DS is 7 and will be 7 1/2 at cruise time. He can swim. Do you think we will be able to do the banana boat ride at CC?
I saw horseback riding on St. Lucia earlier in the year. Don't tell me they took it away! I was so looking forward to it cause I couldn't do it last time!

oh whoops just read Kat's post. :p I think your son should be fine for the banana boat ride. None of us fell off when we did it this past week, but the whole other side of our banana did except for the one little boy in the back. Just tell him to hold on tight and he should be fine. :thumbsup2 If he falls off not to worry, you wear life vests and if he can swim he'll be alright.

You're right, Heidi. I just looked it up on my handy-dandy Navigator and he comes Christmas Eve Day 1:30-3:30 & 4 -5:30, bearing gifts   . Much better alternative.

GOOD MORNIN ALL

HEIDI if you want too ride just come here. I should have a in door arena built after we move, then you can ride all you want. a few of them are pretty high strung but we do have one that is laid back, his name is HAMMER but I call him eeory he's just laid back and not much bothers him.

i guess i should start posting here more than i have been. i mean what, with the cruise being only 97 days away... :cool1:

that and even though it is fun to look back at the cruise i just got back from, it's more exciting to look ahead to the next one! especially since it's more than twice as long :rotfl2:

right now i'm trying to convince my parents to take me with them next week on the 11night cruise. my mom said sure, just quit your job and then you can come. man too bad i don't already have a new job and i can't give my 2 weeks until then *sigh* rats!

i would offer my horse...but she's still young...

Garry...i am hoping to start showing her in barrels by next summer!

yes they are. i would be going too if i didn't have to work *sigh*

everyone say a prayer and keep your fingers crossed for me and heidi... we might not be able to go on this wonderful cruise :furious:

our other sister swims in college. and she had told her coaches several times last year that she was going on this trip. i guess when she got back to school and went to practice on friday she told him again just to remind him. and i guess he yelled at her. and i understand where he's coming from, cause if 10 people tried to ask him, he can't say yes to 1 and not everyone else. but everyone that goes home over christmas never trains. she has never trained while she's home for christmas. it's her last year. it's not like she's one of the best swimmers on the team either. and she's trying not to care too much about it this year because it upsets her (she used to be fast and can't get anywhere near to what her times used to be). she's going to talk to one of the other coaches on monday. the thing that sucks is that he's not just ruining it for her, he's ruining something for the whole family.

college coaches are weird. i swam in college too. my junior year my grandmother died and the funeral was on a weekend where we had a swim meet. i went straight from the funeral from the swim meet...

for lack of a better word that isn't censored....butthead

I hope things go well with your sister's coach today and you don't have to cancel pixiedust: . That would be a bummer.
