White would be good. No yellow, another color that looks horrible on many people, me included. I personally love bright blue but that might not show all the detail. How about bright red? That would be Christmas-y as well as bright enough to spot.

As we were putting stuff in the attic this afternoon I found myself debating not having a big tree next year, just a little one that we usually put in the front window. Don't know how that would go over with the DD, though.

It was close to 60 here today, Ron. And gray all day for the past two days. I think we are going to have another Indiana monsoon winter rather than a snowy one unless things change drastically. My first winter here (1989/1990) was like that. I moved in just before New Years in the pouring rain. Ugh.

hey all. I'm going to go on a hiatus for a while. I've got to figure out what school I'm going to go to and what I'm going to do with my horse. If you want to talk to me, email me or call. I'm just in a depressed state right now. It's like hearing that one of your kids died. Boo is like my baby, and she may be nothing better than breeding stock. I just feel that my crummy mood shouldn't be rubbed off here, so I will post when I know what's happening with her and such. TTFN.

Good Morning - gaRry, no snow just gray and rainy DON'T SEND ME ANY SNOW.

Did you get a chance to check out the Ron Jon Resort, near the jetty? I made reservations for the 27th, not leaving til the 26.

First, I have to admit that lime green is one of my favorite colors. (But I will buy shirts in whatever color we go with.) I probably have 10 lime green T and polo shirts already!
The bright DIS lime green on so many people was really cool, though. You could spot DIS people very easily. It made it easier to talk to someone if they had the same shirt on as you!
Everyone was asking what the "DIS Board" was. When you would tell them, they would get this look and go "Man, I could have used that site while planning my cruise!"

There are T shirts that the DIS Boards sells that are lime green at the DISshop. Go to the site below to see them.

http://www.disshop.com/store.asp

Here is an idea- With it being a 10 day cruise, more than one T- shirt might be an idea. I imagine we will have several DIS meets. Can't wear the same shirt to everything.
But if we go with just one, bright red would be a good solution. We still have lots of time to decide. Some people won't wear shirts that match everyone else, no matter what color they are. You may have already guessed that looking cool is not high on my list. So I will wear just about anything.

You do a good enough job without me!

Yeah, Kim was NOT wearing anything DIS!

No need to order one this year either..... :rotfl2: Allthough, I DID like my custom shirt from Julia!!!

Dave (my DH) won't wear anything matching, period. And I doubt he'd wear anything DIS either as he still isn't too sure about my talking to everyone. He thinks it is weird though I think he'll be ok with it once he realizes that we will have folks to socialize with on this cruise (whereas we haven't in the past).

I would definitely go with red, blue, a forest or kelly green, black or white. Any other color just looks dreadful on me. Yellow and most greens make me look jaundiced and orange gives me a strange orange/yellow coloring. Ugh. I know, women worry about these things more than men do but someone has to :) .

We would love T-shirts. Still wear the ones from the '04 cruise...

Just a precautionary note -- most places I know of won't let you make anything with a copyrighted image on it (MM, DCL logo). I'm just saying...

DEE I have a special person who does not see the copyright thing,

well she makes a little change it it.

did you find the hidden MICKEYS on your shirt ??????????

its all in fun and not for proffit from the ones I did.

j E n has a start in the past we did lots of changes before we got it DONE :confused3

just popping in quick to say stuff about the shirts.

I can easily make a design for each day. It might be expensive but i can do it. Alot of places ask, but will make stuff anyway. Plus, Garry is incharge of actually getting them made. He has a lady do it for him.

No, I don't think a shirt for every day is necessary. That is way too much luggage space. Besides, I don't wear t-shirts that much. I would definitely be interested in one for me and maybe one for DD and might be convinced to go for a 2nd one but that would be about it. I want to spend my money for the cruise on goodies from the islands after all!

Hi all! I know, I've been on a 7 month hiatus, but I'm going to try to get back into things again now that we're under a year! Yahoo!

Hi Sue! Just spent several days with my parents loving their dobies and getting terribly wet here in northern CA. :umbrella:

Hi garRy! Been missing you and your W A Ys.

Who else is joining us now? Seems like we may have lost a lot of folks to the special cruises in September...

Anywho...what's this about t-shirts? Can someone repost a link for me to see? We will definitely get them. DH really liked them for our last two cruises, though he didn't think he would at first. In fact, we ended up buying the Holiday Cruise (10-day) at the port because he didn't think he wanted them until he saw everyone wearing them and knew we were part of THAT :grouphug: crowd!

What else have I missed? Do I need to sign up for stuff?

Cheers, Kara
