*12/13 Some News* 39 and Going Back at Christmas! A Dec. PTR

JUst letting you know, we are still here. I made a few purchases also, and was thinking about sharing too. Oh, we silly girls, all in a tizzy over new clothes. HA! Weird random thought.... I wonder how Eve felt when she got her new clothes made out of skins the first time? :lmao: Probably not as excited, I'll bet? :rotfl2:

I can't wait until my Disney box comes!! I got several fun things!

Maybe Eve enjoyed trying out the different styles of leaves and fur available?? :lmao:

Accessories would have been a killer!

When I got home today (after school, faculty meeting, karate, Toyota place, and cheerleading party...whew!), look what was waiting for me!!:cool1::cool1:

I got lots of goodies! (All because of Leslie's enabling, of course) :goodvibes

I bought these two 2 for $20 tees. I was so happy that they came in plus sizes. I just love Mickey & Minnie!

I also bought two D23 tees. I just couldn't resist these even though they won't fit me perfectly right now. I'm going to save them for after my surgery in the summer, but they're for the charter year so I figured I'd better get them now.

And the sleeve of that one:

I also bought two sets of these ornaments to decorate my small table top tree for my classroom. (There are actually 8 in each set.) Aren't they cute??

So much fun!!!

Stay tuned because Courtney gave me her lists today and I'm going to post them soon. It was fun to see what appealed to someone who hasn't been there in 30 years!!!

GREAT stuff!! I had a Disney box waiting for me when I got home today, too!! :woohoo: So you're a D23 member?! I asked Brent to get me a membership for Christmas. How do you like it?

Hey Shannon, you got some great Disney stuff. Kinda makes me want to place another order.....:rolleyes1

OH you and me both!!!!! I may have to get that tree topper!! GASP! Oh and Shannon I love the cutie mickey heads!!!! I had seen those in October, they were very cute! I ended up with the "bits of Mickey" As I call them! So they are going on my tree in WDW.... but I don't have THAT many Disney ornaments... Hmmmmmm what was that you were saying WigD??? Think we would get those orders before our 14 day kick off??!! HA!

You got some seriously yummy looking stuff!! Very fun indeed!

Thanks girls. I put the Mickey heads on my tree at school and they are seriously cute. I'm thinking about taking them to Disney with us and putting my little tree up in our room.

And, I love being a D23 member. It's totally too much money, but I drool over the magazine when it comes. And I'm planning to redecorate my playroom around one of the gifts I got!

Can't wait to see your stuff!!!! :goodvibes I placed a final order too... it will have to be b/c I don't need anything else!!! I am looking forward to shopping at the DTD Christmas store....

regardless, I think I have all the decorations I need for my villa tree! :goodvibes

So, here are Courtney's lists. My initial reaction was that we can do this stuff easily. Of course, I've never been there in Christmas so I don't know about the crowds.

Magic Kingdom:
TikiRoom
Jungle cruise
Pirates
Splash Mountain
Country Bear
Haunted Mansion
Hall of Presidents
It's a Small World
Philharmagic
Peter Pan
Space Mountain

Epcot:
Spaceship Earth
Living with the Land
Soarin'
World Showcase

DHS:
Muppetvision
Toy Story Midway Mania
Great Movie Ride
Star Tours
Tower of Terror

My thought is:
1 day at MK (plus maybe MK EMH)
1 day at Epcot
1/2 day at DHS

Can we get it all done?

I think so, but WS is an awfully broad topic. I could easily spend a whole day just over there. If you use FPs wisely, you shouldn't have any problems with any of the rest.

Hey Shannon, have you thought about using ridemax? If you want to get a lot done, that's one way to do it!

New news:

Morgan's karate instructor told us at his testing yesterday that they've changed the ceremony to 10AM (usually it's in the afternoon). That means we can get on the road much earlier than we thought!!

If we're on the road by afternoon, then we can probably get all the way to Valdosta before we stop for the night. That means we'll only have 3 1/2 hours to drive on Sunday morning before we're there!!:cool1::cool1:

This is great news, Shannon!

An earlier start is ALWAYS a good thing! And only 3 1/2 hours is so do-able to get there early-ish!
