12/10/05 ~ Anyone else cruising.....??

We love the massages too, but I think with the wrap you still get a foot massage (ahhhhh), a scalp massage (melt) and an upper back massage. I think we need to try it once. DH is pretty easy to get to try new things so he will probably try it too. We will give you a full report at one of the DIS meets.

Angie,

Hmmmm........maybe I will have to try one...

Did initial talk with my cousin, WendyOkada, about excursions. She will have a 5 mo old son at the time of the cruise and we are trying to decide what she will be able to manage. She also has a 3 year old (at cruise time). I definitely want to hit a beach at one of the ports and then probably just shop at the other. Anyone have advice...what island has the best beaches......?

Megan's Bay in St Thomas is beautiful. My sister and neice went to a beach at St Maarten that was very near the ship and had a great time. We love the Golden Eagle Caatamaran in St. Maarten which takes you to a nice bay/beach to snorkel/swim, sun bathe. Your sister could not do that one with the little ones though. We hope to get over to St. John this trip as we have heard they have beautiful beaches.

Has anyone done the REAS from our group? I booked it but still have loads of questions....

I am starting to get excited - although I know December is far away!!

WOW! I looked at that thread last night & was totally lost. I don't get which rides you are suppose to do. I probably wouldn't be able to get everything done in time. DD is out of school in 17 days & DS will be in 19 days. I have a ton of things to get done before summer starts here & the PTO stuff needs to be worked on too.

well, we are headed up to Disney this weekend....impromtu trip staying at Caribbean Beach for one night. DH and I are actually going to PI ALONE!! Can you believe it? Now I need to pick a restaurant for that evening to eat with my family...any suggestions?

Lisa: yes, that thread was overwhelming! i finished my cruise swap items. i did 46 paper piecing....whew...glad that's over now.

Lilly: have a great time!

Have fun, Lily. Am so jealous that we don't live close enough to either Disney to pop down for the weekend. We have to make it once a year at DL and once a year at DW. We need to move to Florida! :sunny:

Also, Lily. When you return will still be happy to field questions about REAS. We were very glad we booked that.

Good afternoon, Cruisers! Bumping us up. Don't want to get lost in the hinterland pages. :sunny:

Hello, everyone! I am ready for the cruise now. It is snowy and yucky here today. :cold: I am ready for some fun in the sun :sunny: (and a drink of the day wouldn't hurt either) ;)

Yeah, it has been snowing off and on all day. It isn't sticking to the roads though. We are so used to having sun every day that this past week of clouds and rain and snow has been really depressing. The grass looks great though! And we sure could use the moisture. Still... I would rather be on the Magic meeting all of my new friends. :grouphug:

Well, we have high speed & it is so much faster to do this web page stuff with it! BOY OH BOY! :) I am just about set and will email the people that I have info on already with the link. I've had to start from scratch with a new program but it's close to the old one.

Hi,

Does the Pirate party really start at 10:00pm? Just read that somewhere.
Ah, spring in Colorado....snow on tulips.

Linda :wave2:

It actually starts around 9:45 pm. The characters don't come out until after 10 pm. The entire thing probably lasts an hour. They can't start it until after the late seating is finished & the second movie run. We were watching The Incredibles on the last cruise & I kept checking my watch. We went right up to deck 9 & it had just started.

Hi Lisa,

Hope the kids can stay awake for the pirate party! I tried to click on the link for your daughters dress, it didn't let me have access. Did you already sell it?

Linda

Just have them take a nap around 3 or go watch a movie in the theater. That's what we do to calm them down for a while. If we take them back to the room to change I turn on a Disney movie & they become entranced & fall asleep. :) Thanks for letting me know about the link. I'm not selling her dress but I have gotten so many PMs asking where I got it from that I put a link to the ebay auction with it. I'll send it to you when I look it up again.
