Brad and Jacob have a Cub Scout field trip to the Butterfly Pavilion tomorrow. Rachel and I are going on a Girl Scout event to help make Thanksgiving boxes for the food bank. The rest of the weekend consists of trying to start clean house and start getting presents wrapped.

I just hack sawed the curtain rods that have been in the dining room so that they can go up in the living room! I also took care of the one in the family room that has been up but WAY too long for a couple years. LOL! What else can I find around here since this is going so well?

any special plans this weekend?

My special plans for the weekend is to work all weekend I really wanted to clean and pack but I think I'll be working too much to do anything. I am working 12 hours today and then Sat and Sun too. I had wanted to take Sunday off too but that's not going to happen anymore. The girls are off all next week though so I will clean and pack then. I think we have everything now for the trip, I just have to get it all in the luggage

How many sets of formal clothes is everyone takign for the kids? I'm wondering how much I should be taking. I was thinking of two "dressy" dresses and then sundresses and casual clothes. How much do I really nedd to pack??? We're entitled to two bags each for the plane, I really don't want to take that much, just means more laundry when I get home

DD insists on dressing up every night & I enjoy that too since we don't have the opportunity at home. I am thinking of packing an extra garment bag with the kid's things...or maybe just her costumes! LOL! DS will have two suits with him. I need to check the hems on them this weekend though. I remember taking them down last year & this year the jeans that he wore last spring are a couple inches too short. I saw some really nice suits in WM this morning. He might be getting one if the others don't fit.

Yeah - I checked the tracking and it says my docs were delivered at 9:52am this morning. So silly, then went from Tampa to Orlando to Sarasota!!! Way out of the way! So they are sitting all alone by the front door!!


I am taking lots of dresses for the girls...Samantha will pretty much not wear pants or shorts without major bribes. If she could she would wear a party dress or dancing skirt as she calls it to school everyday! I packed all the costumes as well.... She loves wearing those....I think she thinks they pass as jammies sometimes!

Jacob will have his tux and then he will have dockers with either a shirt and tie (he loves ties) or a polo type shirt. Rachel will have a formal dress and then several other more casual dresses or skirts and tops.

No kids with us, but DH is going to dress much like Jacob!

I've offically started packing, I think I'm going to need more than the 3 pieces of luggage I was planning on I have the girls 3 "dressy" dresses and some sun dresses packed. Then there are the everyday clothes I'm packing for them I have my dress clothes packed as well, DH needs to pack his suit and stuff and I need to add the costumes and then, and then, and then.... you see where this is going? Insanity Oh well, I will pack and then take some of it out. I can always do laundry while we're away I think I'm going to get ready for work now, atleast I have ALL of the girls clothes away, it doesn't happen often so I must gloat when it happens
