12/10/05 ~ Anyone else cruising.....??

I'm done with Samantha shopping....too much....her Cinderella castle came today! I need to get some things for Haley....the fights of mine/yours have already begun....isn't it way to early for that? DH and I pretty much don't get anything! :)

The auditors are still at work....I am so ready to get away. Since I am involved in the "cash" which seems dear to their heart...I am called upon quite frequently!

My mother called today and tried to "guilt" me in to coming to thanksgiving. Her exact words were "When you come for tgiving, you could always leave Samantha and Haley to spend the night while you go shopping the next morning!"......I love the "when you come"....I don't want to shop - I want to save $$$....if I kept my WDW trip there would be no issue!! But let's see....I am dealing with the Outlawz, my dad, my mom (who are divorced and can't speak).....so it's a dilemma! Oh well!

She also called John to ask him if he was taking me out to dinner for my bday....so she could sit...I don't want to....last year we spent over $200 and I would rather buy somethign I like on the cruise. She called again today....almost like she is trying to make John feel guilty for not when I am the one saying NO....

anyway.............

who likes to dance? anyone? I am so wanting to dance...I miss it so much. Not that we can go out often but we have no place to dance here so I am hoping to lure DH in to a few although I bet I can have a drink and be out there by myself!

On a self note - I lost another 5 lbs!! Whoo hoo....bye bye baby weight! I need 15 lbs to go!!! :(

A funny - Samantha has a hard time staying in her room to go to bed. The past few nights it has been "tell me all about the cruise boat mom"....ummmm I guess I am talking about it way to much!

Vanessa.... an idea for your b'day(when is it by the way?)... since you don't want to spend the money on going out how about just taking the girls to your mom's and going back home and having a nice quiet romantic dinner at home. Does she live close enough where that is an option?

As far as the dancing goes..... I am up for it if John won't be your partner I will get out there with you. I like dancing too....now I am not saying I can dance with any amount of skill, but I do have fun. I will probably manage to get Brad out there a little too hopefully. It shouldn't be too hard, especially after a drink or too. ;)

Cristi - actually my mom is 1 1/2 hr away....but would be great!!!

Dancing would be great! I am thinking that the 70-80's night will probably have lots of us women folk on the dance floor with the men holding our drinks!

If by chance you want to meet quick at the xmas party let me know. We come in on the 8th and plan to eat dinner that night....sleep in and go to the xmas party the night of the 9th!! We have reservations for Chef Mickey's but after Halloween, I may do a walk up somewhere. Last year it was FREEZING! Hope your DD is feeling better soon...it seems to be going around here..well just the ickies!

Soon, everyone!

Vanessa... too bad your Mom lives too far away. My parents used to live about 30 minutes from us and that was great, but now they are about 1 1/2 hour away so we don't get as many nights out (or in ;) ). My folks usually will take the kids overnight every once in awhile though.

70's or 80's night would be great! That is the music I am used too. I remember fondly the high school dances with a huge group of girls dancing in the middle of the floor and all of the guys surrounding the floor. :cool1:

What time are you going to the Xmas party? I read on another board that you can get there around 4 and get in with your party ticket. That is what we were planning on doing. We get in on the 7th and are planning a park on the 8th, but just planning on sleeping in and hanging out until party time on the 9th. Are most of the restaurants open during the party? We don't have ressies anywhere. I was just thinking of walking up somewhere too.

I just got home from work an hour ago...very, very tired. Not tired enough to get on the internet though.

:teeth:

are you on Delta? We were suppose to be on Delta too but there were no Skymile seats available for us. Blessing in disguise.
Yup I am a long time Delta flyer. Used to fly Delta for work and got many WDW flights for free. My friend's wife works for Delta out of MCO so I try and give them some business. I loved Song.

I don't think they will strike, but you never know.

FYI, the Ducks traded possibly our best player to Columbus and we got no one good in return. It was a salary dump since we were so close to the cap.....

Vanessa, I know where those 5 pounds you lost went!! :rotfl2: I have 5 that belong to someone else also! :rotfl: I've gained another 10. Aw well, more of me to love I guess. I do need to try on the summer clothes this weekend though and decide if I need to go get some just a tad larger. :rolleyes1 It must be that baby fat. Of course my last baby is now 27 years old. :confused3

We are flying United this trip. We really like American, but United had a better price. I can be bought! :earseek:

If I was trying to post at 1800, 1900 etc.....it would be difficult to do so. You all are trying to beat me to it....But if you've REALLY been paying attention.................well, I'll just leave it at that.

I'm glad that it makes you laugh, Jordan. There is an entire continent between you & this hormonal 5 yo. :) You would be pulling your hair out too. Add to the mix that DH will be gone tomorrow for the rest of the week & I am going to have one ticked off girlie on my hands this week. OY!

Bachi = japanese term for what goes around comes around.

Jordan - now because you laughed, Erin's going to totally be like that on Fridays that you watch her. Hee hee hee.

BAD BAD decision. It's a sad day in Anaheim.

Well, guess you're not as tired as you thought. Hee hee hee.

I am though... but am debating about how much to try to do tonight or just go to bed. Hmmmm. :scratchin
