Hi all, hope everyone's week started well.

What is the opinion on gettings docs? Anyone been looking to see when others were getting theres (on other cruises to see when they are arriving)?

In the past I have been able to find out if the Magic would be docking or tendering in St. Thomas and St. Maarten but I cannot find this info currently. Anyone have it?

Ahhh....Lisa, the joys of girls!!! Did William have a great bday?

Yes, I think that he did. He was student of the day in his class & brought home the class journal buddy Nemo. We went to TX Steakhouse for dinner. It was very late for them & us & DH had to deal with a headache at the rental place. The kids are in bed now & I am going to get some hot cocoa & relax for a bit. I just managed to put together his Rokenbok starter set so that he can play with it tomorrow morning when he wakes up...if he gets up early since he was an hour past his bedtime.

With the new pier the Magic doesn't have too tender anymore. They are always scheduled at the far Crown Bay dock though. Here is where the schedule should be but they don't have November's up. IDK why. http://www.vinow.com/general_usvi/cruiseship/

Lisa, I guess I should've clarified...the 5 y.o. with PMS phrase made me laugh.
Believe me I can relate. I will be helping my cousin out on Fridays when she goes back to work. I will be watching a 3 y.o. wonderful girl and a 5 mo. old boy. The girl is a non-stop talker from the moment she gets up til she goes to sleep. She definitely has a strong will. I may want to rethink the whole MR Mom gig if she decides to go postal on me.......

I had to look it up on the website but I will let your laughter slide since you have a 14 yo DD now. I am hoping that this means that she wont be so tempermental when she is a teenager.

OK now that has ME ROFLMBO! Yes, sometimes DD does go postal. That will happen when she finds out that daddy is not coming home tomorrow. Things will be thrown. Doors will be slammed & locked...then unlocked by me with the key over the door frame.

Lisa, When my 14 yr old is pmsing I want to move out until it is over! I wish mine was 5 again. Teenagers are a totally diferent bread of humans. My DD wants a boyfriend my DH says no your to young. They want to be like adults.

Wow you guys have been busy . . . 1700 just flew on by. I am in Columbus for the state school boards conference, and just got a chance before hitting the hay to catch up!

Sophia had the intestinal bug over the weekend, Amy came down with it as I left today, and Alex's GF's Mom went to go bring him home since I am away because he is sick too! Glad I am out of the house, and glad if they get this out of the way before the cruise!

Mrs. Mork I figured that a time inbetween the seatings would be best so that everyone will be dressed in their pirate garb. That is IF we want the picture in the atrium. We might be able to arrange one with Hook if we ask nicely the first night.

That sounds good. Just let us know what time and where you want us. It would be great fun to have Captain Hook join us. Chip and Dale look great in their pirate garb also.

I made a red sash for DH to wera & bought him a pirate hat. Now he goes around saying arrgh matey! He is in the spirt of things & is looking forward to pirate night. He wants a parrot for his shoulder. I tried to explain no animals allowed on the ship & that he's lucky they'll allow him.

I found a blow up parrot for DH shoulder at Party City the other day. It was with the kids party goods. Only a couple of bucks!

I was trying to budget our spending money today...ha ha....I finally said forget it! I think I am going to bring cash for tips and island shopping only and leave shipboard charges to be put on the card. Shutters will get me I'm sure!

I am trying to find a digital camera. Don't really want to go over $250.....but I am hoping there will be some on sale the day after Tgiving!

I am sure Shutters will get me too! I bought the 10 picture package last time and that was only on the 4 day. THis time I am planning on a formal picture and Christmas cards too. $$$$$

I love our digital camera. It isn't a really expensive one, but it isn't the cheapest you can get either. It's a Sony Cyber-shot 3.2 megapixal. I have taken some good pics with it. It even has a timer on it (although I don't think I have ever used the timer yet).
