I am going to start getting small things together and toiletries this weekend....I have to do things way ahead or they don't get done...in a family of four - yes two are not capable of packing....I still have to do it all....if I left anything to DH he would end up buying all new whenever he arrived at his destination. I can get the kids clothes together since they have mostly things that won't be worn before hand. Also I plan on packing a small bag for our two nights at WDW which we can leave in the car. I don't want to be dragging big bags into our room for two nights.

Tonight it is so nice out - there is a breeze off the Gulf and I so wish our pool was finished...I would love to sit outside and enjoy the night air....since our yard is a mess we have no where to sit anymore.

Well - I hope the Indians pull it off....have a great weekend everyone....Go Gators....Meyer's first road test tomorrow against Alabama!

I have one bag for our DCL trips that is perpetually packed. It has our snorkel gear, laundry bag, over the door shoe hanger and a bit of other stuff that we only use on these trips. Includes a few pirate items now also from our last trip.
I will ask DH to post a picture of us in our pirate outfits. (I do not do any technical stuff on this machine...that is his job! ) I have a tavern wench outfit and we rented a vest/shirt and boot covers for him. Our local costume shop let me take it for 2 weeks and only charged me a two day rental. I am thinking I might buy one for him. Disneydirect has costumes on sale and Mousesavers has a code for even more discounts. They have an adult Captain Hook and a Jack Sparrow as well.

Hey! I love McDonalds. I have collected all ten of the Disney characters they were giving in the happy meals. Yes, I make DH and DGS who is 16 eat happy meals. DGS said "Grandma, you just want my toy!" Yep. We get the cheese burger with apple slices and milk. Sounds not too unhealthy. There actually was a lady who ate at McDonalds exclusively for 30 days after the Supersize Me thing came out and she lost weight. She made wise choices. Salads instead of fries, ice tea instead of soda and NO supersizing anything. I have NOT lost any weight.

Thank you for the tip on the laundry room I will stay clear. My STL told me to bring a small bottle of laundry detergent so if you need to wash anything you can just wash by hand & hang it up in the bathroom.

On ebay someone is selling luggage tags from the DCS. I was wondering are these the tags given to us from disney to put on our luggage. The ones I saw are flat and oval shapped & have the characters faces on the tags. I tjought about bidding on them for scrapbooking. But if we get them anyways I don't see any since in bidding on the tags. Thank you Diana

don't buy those luggage tags on ebay...they are free. You can pick a couple of each kind if you want. I finished my DCL Cruise Scrapbook Album. My album has everything that wasn't nailed down on the ship.

And about the laundry, I don't want to keep you from doing it...just to let you know the incident happened to me on a Friday (Castaway Cay) afternoon....the afternoon before we disembark in the morning so that's why it was so crowded.

We are having a nice Saturday morning rain. The sun is even out. We are getting into fall weather. The evenings are getting in the 55 degrees and the days are around 75 degrees. I love this weather!
Usually I'm not looking forward to the winter months but this year I am! wonder why?lol
Thank you for the tips on the tags I will keep my money I like the price of free. Miss Mulan I plan on putting every memerblia I can into my scrap book. I finished my scrapbook for my brother & his wife celebrating 25 yrs of marriage. They were so pleased! I think my brother got a little choked up! I recieved the nicest thank you card! This makes it worth it. We went to PA in May to see my neice graduate from college. We had the best weekend. It was all my brothers & sisters & my mom went. We left spouses at home. We had so much fun together! I plan to make a special scrapbook for my mom for Christmas of that weekend.

Weather is finally cooling off.......Thank God....

I just looked up stateroom availability on the official DCL website. It looks like after the September paid in full deadline some more rooms opened up. The website is now showing availability in every category 4-12. I see about 70 staterooms now available as of a few days ago. I wonder how many people book a cruise with only 2 months to go?

Well, I watched the Indians lose last night in 13, and I am watching them lose again today. Only the bottom of the 9th left to go, and we are again losing by a run. It is extremely frustrating being a Cleveland Sports fan. We have NEVER won any championship in my lifetime.

Here we go to the bottom of the ninth . . .

We bought tickets for tomorrow's game about three weeks ago, and will go win or lose. I am still holding out hope that it will mean something . . .

Mrs. Mork, as of yesterday we have all 10 characters!!!! When we were at McD's last weekend I asked which ones they had & said oh well, I guess there is Ebay. We still needed Buzz, Chip & Dale, Mickey, & Simba. DD told the girl that she wanted to find Buzz for her brother and I like Chip & Dale. She took her Pluto happily (we didn't have that one either at that point) & sat down to wait for our food. When I got our food the mgr told me that noone had asked for the display yet so she took our name & number. She called me yesterday afternoon to come get it. I expected to pay something for it but she wouldn't take anything. When she came out with it & handed it to DD her jaw dropped & she gave her a big hug. IDK how long the display is going to be around, but the 3D castle is going to find its way into our WDW scrapbook for June.

Very cool. See why I love McDs. I have half of the set completed for my desk at work as well as the full set at home. Probably won't be able to get the one at work completed. I think that series ended Sept 30.

Wow, Vanessa you are big fans! I agree NO YANKEES!

DS got up this morning and said, "Mom, if we go on the cruise in December we could get shipwrecked from an iceberg." It didn't take much to convince him that there aren't any icebergs where we will be sailing. I don't know what got him thinking about that? He has been watching a lot of Gilligan's Island lately, but there definately wasn't an iceberg in that.

Wow - we are almost at the 2 month mark!! Can you believe it?

All the Halloween stuff is out at the stores and I am sure Christmas will soon follow. Home Depot had the fake trees and some lights and the wood logs - which is a hoot here in Florida!!

Hi Cristi,

Sorry, we were in Wisconsin this weekend. Kipling Chick-fil-A is fine. The only other ones I go to are Highlands Ranch (Univ) and Park Meadows. DH works nights, so I will have DD in tow if we pick a night he is working. We have Tuesday night soccer 5:30-6:30pm, and sometimes boy scouts Monday's. Our other nights are free. Or we could do a weekend afternoon. DS soccer games are all at 9:00am.
