PC Parrot Cay

AP Animator's Palate
PLAPLAP This is an example of a dining rotation. The others are LAPLAPL & APLAPLA. Each letter stands for a day on the ship or SSMTWTF. So maybe if you think of them like this it will help. :)

Lisa - I just checked out the site and I have to say what a great job you are doing!! Everything looks so great! :)

I think I am going to go ahead and pay off the cruise this week - 38 days til CC members can book is right around the corner!! I guess I need to be up early for that as well....I am so excited that we will be able to get the kids registration out of the way. I remember running from Flounders to the Spa and the couple in front of us got the massage slot we wanted. Granted a 3 nighter has much less availablity...

so is anyone planning on doing the Surial spa experience? ;) I would love to do the cabana massages....but those are lots of $$$...I am sure it is worth it though.

who has started thinking about clothes yet? I went shopping yesterday for some work outfits but was at Ross and they always seem to have great prices on cocktail type dresses...I didn't buy anything for the cruise yet for DH or myself. I hope to drop this baby weight before then!

Thanks. :) I'm just glad that the kids are getting in touch with each other. No spa time for us but I do want to book brunch at Palo. I just bought two outfits at Fashion Bug online...did you check out that deal? I needed a new formal night dress because I'm not counting on the old one to fit. :( The other dresses from before will be fine. A couple of them are only worn on the ship. DD is excited about the new DCL dress that I picked up for her. The other dresses from before will be fine. A couple of them are only worn on the ship. The big new thing that I am looking for are costumes for us for Pirate night. I know that we will use them the following year if they haven't changed it. DH is set but I have nothing for DS. I need a blouse. I have to get to WM to pick up some fabric to make DD's skirt. :)

Sorry! There were several posted on the budget board yesterday. Once they reach their limit thay are pulled. Track that thread & maybe someone will find a new one. :)

I just got back from WM & found the CUTEST fabric for the girl's pirate skirts. I'll post a picture later. I didn't find the b&w stripped fabric for the underskirt but did get the red shimmering fabric for the triangles in the center & then DS spotted a black sheer fabric with irradecent/silver metalic skull & crossbones on them for the over skirt!!! :) I'm going make all three of them scarfs for their heads too. I also found a black shiney leatherlike fabric to make their waist corsets. :) She is so excited about this outfit. They have never seen me sew anything before. LOL!

I bet it will be so cute...

you mentioned you bought a DCL dress on Ebay..is this DCL fabric(do they even make that?) or does the shop sell dresses with DCL logo?
I never had time to shop last time only for Shutters....:)

also does anyone know the limitations on what we can book 90 days out? Can you book palo dinner and brunch or just one?

those must run out quick!!

I just received a princess book club thing in the mail. They are $4.99 per book.

Cool! :) I signed up for the Disney Princess Magazine for DD. I cashed out some rewards & got a 25 off 50 code for a mag site. I ended up getting 4 subs for the kids & that will keep them happy. They love getting mail. DS got his Zoobook mag the other day & sat there reading me all about it. :) ANYTHING that inspires them to read more is good in my book!

So, has anyone here booked the 10 or 11 day in 9/06?

Trust me! When you set foot in Palo you will understand. :) The brunch is an incredible experience!

About how much is it to be taxied over to St John's? We are wanting to go to Trunk bay. Does anyone know how much it is to rent snorkling equipment?

On my confirmation form along the line Guest name it say VPP dining. What does that mean? :confused3

Do we need passports for this cruise? My DH thinks we do but I don't think we do. :confused3
When do you recieve your dinning schdule? We have early seating but which resturant? Do they tell you before boarding?I'd like to know so I can plan on what I need to wear for the first night. princess: :thewave:
Thank you Diana :listen:
sry I should have said a lot of questions.

OK, IDK about the taxi to St. Johns. We have never taken one in the ports.

IDK what VPP means (maybe Visa Passport?) but it has nothing to do with dining. :) The dining is the main seating or late.

You do NOT need passports for this cruise, only after 12/31/05.

You get your dining rotation when you get your KTTW card at check in...no sooner. Don't stress about it. Last time I didn't get my luggage before dinner at 6 so had to wear a black collared top, blue jeans :guilty: , and brown sandals. When I sat down all anyone could see was the black top. :)

Hi all and Happy Monday! I just paid for our cruise!! I am so excited and can't wait til the 90 day mark!! No I have to keep an eye out for those Florida discounts...I am really really hoping they come out with them!
Lisa - I have thought about the 10 day cruise but do you think it will be cheaper to book now than onboard? and I don't know if we can wait 'til December again! I would love to do September but that is our fiscal year end at work so no leaving then!

I also ordered the refill and new DCL book from Passporter....hopefully that will arrive soon! Gosh - I feel like I should be packing already!

LOL! No, it's not time to pack yet. :) I have promised John & Amy that I wouldn't start doing that too early. It wont be until October, probably after the carnival.

I am scheduled for the late dinner, but I'm really not sure....which time is best? You guys are the experienced ones....what do you think?
Thanks

That is really a personal question for your family. When do you normally eat dinner. There are lots of debates about which seating is better on the main DCL board. Just do a search for dining. That will give you things to think about when you consider it. :)
