I am back for now. I am on my way to Wendy's house. I need to pick up a few things that they wanted and I am going to leave my car there. So then it will just be a wait til 9pm PST when I leave for the airport.

Um...might be a silly question, but couldn't you just pick up Dylon's BC at their house?

Unfortunately, they only have a hospital birth certificate. They were getting the official state certified one in the mail, but it hasn't arrived yet. Wendy was under the impression that the one from the hospital would be okay. However, if you read the cruise docs and other DCL info, it has to be state certified with a raised seal. The hospital BC is neither state certified nor has a raised seal. That was what got this whole thing going. She asked me to pick up the hospital BC and I asked if it was official. She said no. And you know the rest.

Well, I am back from cruise number 1. Weather was perfect... we had a nice relaxing time. Now I just have to do the laundry from this cruise and pack for the big one. I hope we have just a nice weather as I had this past weekend!

Hi Lisa, just to let you know I haven't responded to the wine/cheese poll. Reason is that I don't want to pick a time and then something came up on the Navigator that we or the kids might want to do. I know for a fact that DH will be out all day on Thursday (St. Thomas)....he is doing the golf thing. As for the other days, I am not sure so if you guys just pick a day and time, we may make it or may not. Sorry! Also, this might sound like a stupid question (so forgive me for being ignorant) but are the kids invited to the wine/cheese time in your cabin?

I am doing the kid-sitting swap thing today. I need the time to go to Costco and the bank for last minute things. LOVE swaps!

Jen, we will be in St. Thomas on Wednesday, not Thursday. The wine & cheese isn't for kids. That's why it wouldn't start until 3:15 on a sea day with a matinee. I would need time to check the kids into the club after the show.

oh oh oh oh oh....boy do i feel "not smart" re: st. thomas. believe me, my brain is ready for a vacation! Thursday will be good then. I remember last year we did the Veggie Relay race, Gingerbread and Tea with Wendy (skipping this year) in the earlier part of the sea days...right?

Hey, everyone! Looks like everyone was busy posting today while I was at work. I am officially on vacation now!!! Boy, was it hard working today.

I read through all of the posts and someone asked which room we were in (I think Deidre?)... we are in 2116 unless we get a surprise upgrade.

Lisa and Vanessa.... I just started watching Grey's Anatomy. I think I have seen two whole episodes and part of another. I keep forgetting about it since Sunday night is usually pretty busy, but now I have it programmed in Tivo so I won't miss it anymore.
