I thought there was a large yellow thing we wrote on out front...

I think it is over to one side of the structure, but a remember the big yellow thing with writing all over it. Found a photo that shows the bottom of the bar with names all over it, it is very bright yellow.

Welcome home, Joy. We thought of you as we passed thru Elk Grove last week. Of course we were envious that you were at WDW and not home! We are now at DL for the week. We have been to the parks Sat, Sun, Mon and Tues. Today we are taking a break and visiting with friends. Lunch with one couple at Knott's Berry Farm restaurant, then afternoon with another family at their home and then dinner in Irvine with another family at their home. Good times. It is VERY stormy here though. The MH is rocking and rolling in the wind. SO glad we are not having to drive anywhere this week.

It is a georgeous day here today. We will head to the park for a bit, then go meet friends for dinner and then back to the for the evening. DL is open until midnight tonight. Not that Grandpa and I will stay until midnight!

We are spending this week with DrHug's sis and bil in Mission Viejo, CA. We have not been with her at Christmas for years! What a blessing this is for all of us. Her daughter and her fiance will join us tomorrow night, so 6 of us for dinner Christmas Day. I have two apple pies just coming out of the oven now and a pumpkin ready to go in. One apple for tonight and one for Christmas dinner. Yummer!

My apple pies dripped in the bottom of my SIL's oven. Phew! Stinky! Hmmm.. She and DrHug are shopping. Maybe they will stay out long enough for the pumpkin pie to finish baking and for me to clean that mess up!

Angie...I am sure that she won't mind because the pies are going to taste so good!!! You just made me realize that I do not have anything planned for desert Christmas day...not that we need it but it is Mike's birthday so I have to bake a cake.

Lisa, the pie was really, really good. I got most of the mess off the bottom of the oven, but I think it will take a bit of oven cleaner to finish it up today. We are making prime rib roast tomorrow so I want it cleaned so the house does not stink on Christmas.

Yes, he was . . . as Amy keeps reminding me . . . Alex is smiling, but he was NOT happy as I had to take the picture several times to get one I was happy with - as I ran from the tripod to the porch! She (the dog) was HEAVY!

The girls get their filled stocking at the bottom of their beds, but this year they are all in Sarah's room. Dina and Amanda have a little stocking with two pieces of "coal" to wake up to.

They haven't been the best lately and the scare should only last seconds as they run into big sis's room...
