Sophia and I talked about you guys at lunch today, talking about you bringing the ship back and what a great time you will all have.

We are leaving home at 4 am Tuesday. We fly out of Raleigh later that day and land 2:20 PT if on time.

We are hitting DCA Wednesday, DL Thursday, Friday is pool time, DTD and meeting up with new friends, and Saturday we are going with Todd's family to Universal for the VIP tour. The packing is coming along...slowly with lots of interruptions since Mike is working as much as he can getting ready to leave for 3 weeks. My nerves are getting the better of me right now. You would laugh. I just did a spreadsheet to note everything we are doing and reservations a couple weeks ago. THere are piles of clothes in the office with post-its on the wall. W-DL-shorts, W-DCL-shorts, etc. As the items are put in their pile the note is moved down. Hopefully it will work for me as this is the first time packing this way. Tomorrow is the rest of my clothes for the days on the ship and transferring my dresses & Mike's dinner shirts to the thin hangers I got today so they will fit into the garment bags.

I also bought enough stuff to stock a mini pharmacy today just to make sure we will be covered while onboard. I can't believe that we are actually leaving for our TOAL in almost 2 days!!!!

W wants me to tell you that you guys are with us in spirit and on one of our doorsigns. I picked out 8 pictures from each cruise and lined them up thumbnail size with the cruise date above them. We will see your smiling faces every time we go to our room.

I HATED, HATED, HATED packing for this trip. We were gone basically the two weeks - three weeks would have been a killer! We will be thinking about you guys too! That's an AWFUL early flight!

In a weird twist of fate (you may recall I did not book your cruise because of union negotiations) I am taking vacation next week. Of course I had no idea at the time we booked, but the entire union leadership is out of town that week - at a national convention! Of course they are back the following week. Negotiations have not even started.

We are having fun watching the Olympics - we love it!

Amanda went to the boardwalk with her friend tonight. She got on one of the rollercoasters, but got too nervous and got off. I told her that now she knows how I feel on the plane, but the difference is, I can't get off!!

Oh I LOVE this! We have not yet been able to slow down. But in a couple of weeks this will be us! Jeff is 99% certain he will get the transfer to Missoula. His boss told him he should tell Jessica to start packing as the Missoula manager said she was going to ask HR for a Sept 15 release date. But he still has to do an interview with the MT district manager. His boss told him that is just a formality as it is required by the company. We are very happy that Aaron will be back near us and that we will have someone to watch our house when we travel. That is a huge relief off our minds!

She has been on the couch all day so I know she is sick. I am taking her to the doctor's office today when they open and 2 and will not leave until they give me an rx for antibiotics for possible strep. Normally I won't insist and if it is a virus just let it run its course but not this week! We don't have time to find out what the course is.

As far as packing...one garment bag and four suitcases are packed, IDK about Mike's case...wasn't packed a bit ago but lots of stuff on top of it so I will probably fold it all up later, and I need to pack my clothes and all the stuff that is coming with us.
