Come on down Brandi! Hurry before it gets any colder.

lillygator said:Brandi - I ended up with wine...I had to do it like shooters in the kitchen so she didn't know. Lovely.
John is on his way home and I am over being mad...and I got Samantha a great surprise I read about on the boards today. We are dining at Coral Reef for lunch on Friday. They are going to have a diver in the tank take a sign in the water that reads "Happy 4th Birthday Samantha, Love Mommy, Daddy and Haley"....I also ordered a cake! The woman I spoke with was soooo nice. and I actually made the dining reservation at the restaurant podium. I am not telling John so I think it will be great...(and if I already posted this ignore me. My wine shots are getting to me)
I had to dig around the closets for some warm clothes. Jasmine, the fairy and my half pirate costume will be cold Thurs night. My sister is BEYOND excited but her costume is supposed to arrive tomorrow. She has been tracking it. I also had to did out CJS for John and I am not quite she how the belt thingie goes but hey, he can at least do that for himself.
Well, I better get back to packing...I am going to dread opening this thread come Sunday night.

becka said:Dinner may be similar. I bought the stuff for DH to make goulash yesterday so if he decides to make that tonight then I will have to scrounge up something for myself out of the freezer. I can't stand goulash! Yuck!

I make a ground meat and bean casserole type dish that my DH claims is like what he knows as goulash...
My mom never cooked anything that she called goulash so i have nothing to compare it to.

The goulash I know (but don't often make) is the beef cubes/tips in a sauce with a lot of paprika; serve it over egg noodles or rice...
pyramid2000 said:I am sure that could be arranged! Only problem would be getting them in the group for dinner. I wouldn't be able to make ressies for thiem until late November, if Military rates are still available by then.
