No...no wild life....it is my DS...WTH is he doing in here? He was half under our bed and just his little legs were sticking out. I have no idea when he arrived or why he was part under the bed...but there he was. I almost kicked my DS!!!!! Almost...but I didn't!

I just pulled him out and threw him in his bed. He still is sleeping.

Good morning, you crazy posters.
You know, I really should get more than 5 hours of sleep a night.

Good morning Marielle and John.

I almost forgot to tell you about how my DS scared the bajeezers out of me this morning. Eliza started to do her wake up whimper (which quickly turns into a cry) and I leaned over to turn down the monitor....I see something. What could it be????

okay Brandi...this is a good little teaser story...let me go get another cup of coffee... :surfweb:

Anyway....back to the morning story....WHAT DO I SEE????

Is it a cat? No we don't have a cat...should I kick it...maybe it is a raccoon...OH NO...Did our front door blow open? Have we been taken over by wildlife???

You must remember that I wear contact lenses 24 hours a day and when I wake up they are very fuzzy.

okay. okay... popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn:: I'm guessing a squirrel..or a mouse! Yeah - a Disney mouse!!!

Do you guys know what time the 80's night dance party starts? I still have some flounders time left and I think I will reserve some time that night.

Phew!!! that happened to me once. Isn't even scarier when you realize that they came into your room and you never heard them. My oldest sleep walks....its always scary if he's ventured into the house and I only hear him after he has clearly been "walking" for a while. I'm almost ready to put some kind of alarm in his doorway that will wake me up.

Glad to hear no squirrel, mouse or racoon.

Lisa's schedule on the site shows it at 11:00 on Tuesday.

It amazes me that he can get up and come into our room and I never hear him. He had obviously been there for a while. Strange!

Does anyone else own a child who isn't exactly forthcoming with information in a timely fashion?!!!

:sad2: :sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

DS has been bringing home his "script" from Drama club for the past week.

Our conversations went something like this..

DM (Dis Me or Dis Mom): Hey, hon, what's this?

DS: My script

DM: I see that...what for....

DS: For Drama Club

DM: Okay - I figured that out b/c thats what it says at the top. But what are you supposed to do with it?

DS: Bring it home.

DM: Okay - you did that...now what.

DS: I don't know.

The next day...

The next day...
DM (Dis Me or Dis Mom): Hey, hon, what's this?

DS: My script

DM: I see that...and we had this discussion yesterday. What is it for and why are you bringing it home?

DS: For Drama Club. I don't know.

DM: So you bring this home every day...are we supposed to study it?

DS: I guess.

DM: Okay - let's do that.

DS: I already know my part.

DM: Okay - so why did you bring it home if you already know you're part?

DS: I don't know. We were told to bring it home...

The next day...

While I know Brandi and Becka would rather me give the complete play by play...just re-read that post about 3 more times and you've got the feel for the week... so we will fast forward to last night...

Last night.....
DM (Dis Me or Dis Mom): Sweetie...this script is still in your folder? Are you sure you're not supposed to be doing something with it.

DS: Oh - I'm not, but you have to make a Lion costume for Monday.

:furious:

.....soooooo....anyone got any great ideas for me?!!!!!! :furious:

Could he get by if you put together a hooded sweatshirt type costume...

Use yarn for the mane around the hood; pin on tail

Look for tan sweats; if all else fails get white ones and use RIT dye for golden color.

Use more yarn at feet/hands (like tendrils of hair at the paws)
