12/09/06 Cruise Continued ~ Pirating Bananas DIS Geekorama Part 2 Part 9

DD snored like a buzzsaw last night & I tried to get her to stay in her bed once again. At least she stopped snoring. Her throat didn't hurt in the morning but her voice was pretty bad so she stayed home from CCD. I dropped DS off and went back to work on her room...which has had a pile of clothes in the middle of the floor since I started switching out her clothes last weekend.

After picking DS up and grabbing lunch at McD's to take home to the troops, I finished DD's room and it is now sparkling clean.

DS's room is cleaned up as well...thanks to DH starting on it. I reorganized the toys in the closet and took out a few things to get rid of. I also threw out some of that party stuff that DS seems to hoard for years. OY!

I vacuumed the rest of the upstairs before moving on to the stairs & living room. My next challenge was wrapping a hoola hoop with 20 foot streamers in red, white, and blue to hang in the cafeteria this week. That ended up going quite well. It is in the living room ready to go tomorrow morning.

I have also put laundry away, changed the beds, played dominos and sudoko with DS, and cleaned up some of the kitchen & family room. I am tired of doing anything today!

You don't drive thru anywhere. Just pull up to the curb in front of the terminal where the shuttles do.

I used to take my Rubik's Cube apart and snap it back together, problem solved.

I could never do the Rubik's Cube, but my younger brother was amazing with it. He learned how to do it, then memorized the last 20 or 30 twists, practiced them until he could do them with his eyes closed, then behind his back.
He would get the cube to the point where he memorized from (it looked nowhere near finished), and would leave it on a table. When someone would comment on how difficult the cube was, he would pick it up look at it, put behind his back and solve it. It would make me feel kind of stupid in comparison.
