BTW, while getting the winter coats out of the closet this morning since it was 32 outside....I found a bag in the bins. There are three maternity dresses that I made in there with the extra fabric. I guess that I am taken care of after all, Angie.

Lisa - I think DD is very sensitive and astute. I remember you mentioned that she took it very hard when DH was away.

She is poking you in the eye to make sure you hear her - I would definitely have the school psychologist talk to her. She needs someone to discuss her fears with and find a coping strategy for dealing with this stress. It also wouldn't hurt to have the counselor know that this classroom situation is being acted out at home - I'm sure she can't be the only one. Maybe this will light a fire under them to resolve this child's status.

Kids act out to say I am afraid, I'm in pain - keep me safe. Tell her that you are happy that she let you know how she is feeling and maybe show her a more appropriate way of conveying it to you. Have you reviewed a plan with her for her personal safety in this classroom? - that might empower her to know she has options.

This sounds like it is building up to a serious injury - maybe the parents need to press a little harder. It seems to me that given the circumstances the parents should have been informed that someone received a nose bleed from this child.

It's hard to go about business as usual with this stressful classroom issue. Why should she be good if he doesn't have to be?

We went to Boo at the Zoo today. It was so cute!! All the kids dressed up and went through stations inbetween the animals. They had face painting, stuffed animals hidden in leaves, Fish pond, plinko, wand making, those air filled jumping things, and sack races. Fun Fun! But DD is getting sick, so she just wasn't herself and only made it half way through marathon ice skating lesson.

So I came home and made homemade chicken noodle soup again this weekend... Hope it works!

It is interesting that the plains states are very underrepresented. We need to up our recruitment in those areas! Can someone get a list of large libraries in the plains states with Internet access? We can send Charlotte on a recruitment tour!

Caught up and headed for the shower. We have a softball game today. Had to recruit a few girls from another team to play today because our numbers keep dwindling. 57 degrees right now, but the sun is shining bright! Catch up with you later.

Two weeks ago my DS missed a day of preschool because he had a bad cold. About a day and a half later Eliza had a cold. Thursday night Jake started with a cold again...runny nose(which is now really sore) and a cough. Guess who keeps waking up and crying...Eliza. I heard her cough at about 9:30 in her sleep. Now she is waking up and sleep crying every 20 - 30 min. I feel so bad for her. Her little nose is so stuffed up. I think it will be a long night. I guess I better hit the sheets...I am sure she will have me up soon enough!

I hate that evil cycle. It seems like it never ends in the winter! Good Luck!

Finally! Whew! I finally reached the end of the internet!!

For me, the end is no where in sight.....I've been reading here for an hour and a half, and I am still 75 pages behind!

For our DVCer's and wannabe DVCer's AKLV were official annouced today! So, next october/december I hope to be stay at a studio at AKL! It will be a new builidng and at least one floor of the existing structure, most likely the 6th and/or possibly the 5th floors. First rooms will be open in one years time.
