DH & all 3 of his brothers have had kidney stones...the youngest was the worst with surgery. He definitely doesn't stop eating chocolate...or drinking caffiene.

Let's bring up kidney stones between that and jury duty those are the two things he's concerned about effecting his cruise.

It turned out to be a beautiful day for softball. It actually got a bit hot in the sun! We are short on players, so we got 2 from another team to play with us. We still lost, but it was alot better than usual. We were at least competative. Plus I didn't have Amanda and Dina in tow and that is always a plus when I have to coach! DH had the WHOLE day off.

Dina is always looking around for a picture of herself. The pictures of the other 2 are from birth and then about 6 years ago. Bad, bad mom!!

OMG - gasp how di I miss that Tana is a crafty person. Oh no I feel so deficient. Tana will you still converse with me? I am so intimidated by scrapbooking. It's like another job or something.

Carla of course I still love ya! But I will be mighty annoyed if you are serious about feeling deficient! I do think that scrapbooking can be really overwhelming, especially the last few years because there has been such an explosion of new products in the industry. If you're into it and you enjoy it, you can start with some kits and make some great basic projects and keep it simple. If you don't enjoy it, don't do it and don't feel badly, it's supposed to be a relaxing creative outlet artistic fun kind of thing. I think everyone should have hobbies to use those other parts of your brain, but it has to be something you enjoy, not something to add more stress or guilt to your life.

In my former life I was a CPA, I would have sworn I was not creative at all. I was just going to do one small baby album for my ds. 7 years later I am completely addicted -- it is really fun to create once you relax and enjoy it. I have to be careful because I have a design team for my site and they are all really talented, published scrappers and it can be very intimidating to be around them. We started out today in Louisville, KY and drove up through Cinncinati & Columbus, OH, Wheeling, WV, Washington, PA down the PA Turnpike then down to Hagerstown, MD on to home. We tried to wave in each town to our DISFriends.

Wow... we should have met you in Columbus for lunch or something... We are only 2 hours away from there!!!

Tana that was such a sweet message - I think I fall into it would overwhelm me category as far as scrapbooking. I have a lot of friends who do it and when I go into their "rooms" my eyes glaze over. I must admit however when I see the gadgets they use - those are intriguing. Scrapbookers do talk a different language about there stuff - I always need to ask what whatever the items name is in english - like whats it's function.

Since we're neighbors on board, we can strike up a conversation with each other and our DHs will be none the wiser. We can talk about all those crazy green people the most! We'll be the ones pointing and laughing!!

DD has had the past two Mondays off - why do I have a funny feeling that this week is going to be a LONG week? She does start Magic Class tomorrow so she will be very excited about it.
