unfotunately, I did not catch that the kids had left one of the mini-van doors open overnight and I think a raccoon peed in there - ugh. Everytime you start the car up there is this terrible odor. After about six weeks and several carpet cleanings it is finally disappearing.
don't do this at home.

If it makes you feel better. I ignored the e-mail that those posts go to for over 4-5 months and now i have something like 6,500 posts to go through and delete.

At least here, I'm caught up on all 35,000+ posts. (OK, except for those 1,000 i had to skip last weekend; i still have those #'s written down so i can go back and read them)

Lisa - our PTA president mentioned that if the teachers strike or walkout that the kids would be sitting in the cafeteria doing nothing because of lack of substitutes.

I mean is that what the school board wants for our kids?

I was in today to comb hair for school pics and several staff thanked me for speaking including both of my kids K teachers. I didn't realize they had all heard about it.

That is very sad. I don't understand. They chose a profession that has historically been underpaid. They are suppose to be concerned about the welfare of our children.

Someone played a joke on someone at Devon's horse farm...they put a snapper turtle in the person's car; not sure if it was dead when they put it in, but it was dead when they found it...the car sat for a week with all four doors wide open, good weather - bad weather. Not sure what was worse, the lingering turtle smell or the mousty rain soaked interior...kids these days.

I never had choxie...but I had it in my hand one time....I should have gotten it!!! Now chocolate is just too many points!
Speaking of points....I am at 20 for the day! We are going out of Friday night(we have an all night babysitter ) and I want to have a few extra points. I have 7 total saved since Monday. I figure 2 or 3 more tomorrow...a light lunch on Friday...I should be able to keep it within my point total for the week!

That Choxie is pretty good! I got some on clearance after Vday.

I like the weather when it gets cooler and you can wear jeans and light sweaters. Curling up on the couch with a good book, cup of hot chocolate, and a soft blanket.

Nutella, yum...

There's a french Crepe restaurant (yup all crepes) in Gaithersburg, MD where they make the best dessert crepes with Nutella, bananas, strawberries and whipped cream & powdered sugar on top.

It's right around the corner from my gym. A group of us gets together for dinner every so often and we love to have a normal crepe for dinner (my fav is turkey& chesse with cranberry sauce {jelly kind})

I like cupcakes...you can get them about anywhere....

If your teachers are having a hard time settling a contract and you speak on their behalf...trust me they will hear about it!!! If you speak against them...they will hear about that as well!!!! You are a teacher supporter...I like you more and more Elaine!

We have the eggs at Easter time. Smarties here are totally different, a different company had the name in use already from what I understand. They are kind of like mini sweet-tarts here but not tart. Not the chocolate heaven of a real box of Smarties. But don't worry about bringing any for me, I'll have more than enough to eat on the cruise!

I have never known any other kind of Smarties. On our first cruise one of the DISers from Canada brought Nestle chocolate bars to share that we don't get in the States. THOSE were FANTASTIC!!!! YUMMY!!!

I thought The Nine was awesome last week!! I haven't watched this week's yet but can't wait to see it.

I was so tired last night that I only watched the first 10 minutes and looked it up online to see if it would be there to watch. It was good up to that point.
