DD wants to see the baby cows.... 12 calves have been born there since the opened last week.

I think i have a FFA. (yeah she fits right in in our county, especially since she smells like a horse two days a week.)

Todd, how far from the pier would you say Coconuts is? Timewise??

Coconuts is completely on the otherside of the island ....20 minutes or so from Coconuts to the pier ..

i think i've found a simple wench outfit for DD and me. Simple bodice/ skirt/ chemise. I wanted the faux leather for the bodice but all the websites I've looked at so far are sold out. Maybe i'll have time tomorrow for a trip to Joann's to see if they have a black brocade instead.

I wish i had $200 for each of us. There is a lady on e-bay who makes really nice outfits custom to fit.

If my DM can sew for us, (i am an anti-sew; like i said before if it can't be taped together or simple stitch, i can't do it.) maybe i can get by with just the cost of the fabric and simple accessories.


BTW : I need help. DH is afraid to pack swords/daggers in our luggage for the plane. Is there someone driving to the port who would be willing to bring one if i send (mail) it to you? Yes i know i could mail to port, but i'm afraid if it didn't make it.

I will be driving unless DH convinces me otherwise.

PPS. I watched on a Canadian Network, unlike an affilate. I get both the Canadian network, CTV, and the Buffalo affilate boardcasts. The network buys right to air shows from the American based networks, but must also show a % of Canadian developed and produced programming each week.

In fact i'm probably gonna send some stuff to the port and some stuff to our hotel to be waiting when we arrive....like oh....the pins!!!

Maybe I should see if I could send the pins to Shirley's store and go pick them up...might be safer than having a hotel hold them for me....

Yeah, ok Kristina...you are worried about a bunch of plastic swords....how the heck would I explain a whole bunch of pirate stuff and these lime green pins?!!!! Nope - I'm mailing my stuff.


This reminds me of the time we went to a conference in New Orleans and we brough HUNDREDS of necklaces in our chapters colors to throw out during our conference. HUNDREDS OF BEADS!!! DOES ANYONE (besides me) KNOW HOW HEAVY THOSE SUCKERS ARE?!!!

ANY toy swords or Daggers Must be in your checked bags ....you can not carry on any of the sort in your carry on ...you can even have real swords in your checked luggage ...TSA will not give any problems what so ever about the swords ...When I travel I usally have my firearm with me , I just have to put in checked luggage and delcare it and make sure it is secure ...

The reason why it is okay to have swords and stuff in checked luggage is that you dont have access to it from the plane ...

I found a place at the fair today to get my DIS shirts airbrushed on the back at a decent price.

(we'll be Goofy, (me obviously), Wife's Goofy (for Dh) and Mom's Goofy (for dd)

Well they are predicting BIG storms for us here later this afternoon/evening. Large, long-track tornados, tennis ball or larger hail, lots of lightening and dangerous wind. I HATE storms this big. They make me nervous and I always worry about protecting my kids. You just feel so helpless.....

Think good thoughts for us here this afternoon/evening. I hope they skip over us.
