Good luck with the wedding, Brandi! This is good timing. I bet that DD will be going to sleep better when you get back. I know it is hard to do. We actually were not able to do that with DS because of a medical condition. The doctor told us that we had to put him to sleep on his tummy so that he would breathe better. Imagine reading everything about that being bad & then being told to do it. At first I put him on me in bed & had pillows on either side of me to keep my arms around him. He would squeak like a rusty gate when he slept. When we watch video of him now I am reminded how bad it was. We got use to it. I would close his door & ours so that it wouldn't keep me awake at night. Of course if the squeaking stopped, I would wake up terrified. He outgrew it around 2 years and we had to get use to the silence.

I can't even imagine being told that. I am sure you would wake up terrified if the rusty gate stopped!!!!!

It is so funny to me to hear everyone talk about packing up summer clothes and getting out winter ones...we really have no issue here!! But what a lot of work!

I can't even imagine being told that. I am sure you would wake up terrified if the rusty gate stopped!!!!!

My DD used to "sing" in her sleep. Kinda like a "haaa" sound every time she breathed. As a first time parent, for about the first year, every time i didn't hear her, i would get up and check on her. (Since she was a preemie. About a month later you could never tell she was early though because she was off the % charts for height/weight and has stayed there since. I think she 's like 120-130th now as a 13yo.)

We did the whole rolled up towel bumper thing to keep her on her back but she would always roll to her tummy. Our ped said if she can roll, she'll be fine if that's how she wants to sleep. (i was more scared that she would suffocate against the roll anyway.)

I tried to keep both girls on their back...didn't work. Neither would sleep unless they were on their tummy. I was a wreck for a good two years of my life worrying that something would happen to them.

Yes but there's just so many season openers for shows next week, i feel like i need to write them down or else i'll miss them.

Desperate Housewives (is it this Sunday or did they change that night too?)
House (i missed the first one because they put it on at 8pm that week)
Grey's (i know 9pm on the 21st)
ER (10 pm ? on 21st)

oh i i think i need to learn to work the VCR because Grey's is on at the same time as The Office on Thursday's now. UGGG

Ed McMahon won over a million dollars because it killed his dog. The insurance company is suing everyone in sight because it was caused by bad stucco installation.... and it cost them a lot to fix our house.

Not sure if I missed this answer, but how did you find the mold. There have been cases of this happening in our town and I always wonder what triggered people to know they should have their house inspected for mold.

we just got TIVO, haven't set it up but I'm very excited!! I've been taping my soap opera daily and it's such a hassle.

this is not nearly as exciting as DISing in a court room, but JP and I are at Panera right now having bagels and hanging out waiting to pick Jackson up from his science class. JP is playing solitaire and reading the sports section while I DIS. Yes, my life is too easy sometimes!

Reading Tana's posts the last couple of days made me think. We are all so LUCKY in one way or another.

Excluding the obvious things like DCL cruise, and terrific family, (because we all seem to have that) what makes you feel lucky?

1. I get to DIS at work.
2. I don't have to buy airline tickets to take a Disney Cruise.
3. The weather here today is drop down dead georgous.
4. I got to spend the first 7 years of DD's life at home.
