Since June '05?? What was the holdup? We signed for our pool and we were swimming 3 months later.

Everything!! 6 weeks for the permit. Then the paver colors we chose were backordered until December. We had to have our electrical wires buried, and now the deck is done and most of it looks great but there are chipped pavers, cracked pavers, stuff I am not going to pay for. The pool company said they wouldn't finish the pool until we paid the final payment (which I have held on to as I felt we would not have a leg to stand on) I don't feel we should pay until the deck is completed and approved. So now they agreed to take half and finish the pool until the new pavers orded come in.

My advice on pools, buy a house with one already there.

I feel like I am from the land of the living dead. Eliza has been up so much lately I never get sleep. She was up from 2:30 until 5:30 SCREAMING her head off. I would rock her to sleep, put her in her crib, walk to my room, get in bed, and she would instantly start up again. . At 5:30 I took her to bed with me...this is something DH and I are both against....but I was desperate. My sanity was hanging by a thread! At 6:30 DH took her to her bed and then she was howling again at 7:30 .

I have to go to the store today and I feel like . I have a lack of sleep headache.

Ok...enough whining from me...Eliza is crying again...bye guyes.

oh Brandi, you poor thing! I so sympthasize with the sleep deprivation. If she sleeps better with you guys, then go for it, you all need to get sleep. My oldest ds slept with us on and off for about a year, then we finally successfully transitioned him. Have you read a book called the "no cry sleep solution"? I have it from the library but haven't read it yet. It's supposed to be pretty helpful.

DH is going to ABSOUTELY REQUIRE a Stitch Santa Hat. Any idea how I can get ahold of one before the trip? Are they available online somewhere?

My family drives me nuts.
I plan, plan, plan well in advance for my trips and our dining and then they think they can jump in anytime!!

It may be a way to get out of dining with them though as I can say well, sorry, I have my reservations and you can't be added. Not really the Christmas spirit though. But hey, pirates don't have Christmas spirit do they?

I had jury duty a few months ago, I was totally scared of the judge. I DARE you to ask her if you can borrow her computer for awhile!

Smart move holding onto that final payment because you're right, once they get that they probably won't care how long it takes. I'm glad it's working out now.

OK, I think I am caught up from last night, you can tell when I've been away from the board for awhile when half a page is replies from me. My MIL is here to be with the boys while I am supposed to be working, but she tends to wander over to my office to chat and between that and DISing, I don't see a whole lot of work getting done. So I'm going to go hide in the basement and work out instead.

What's everyone up to today? It's is a BEAUTIFUL day here, sunny blue sky, 66 degrees right now and might get up to 70. I'll be taking the boys on a long bike ride this afternoon. They have music classes tonight but my Mom is taking them so all I have to do is pack up their stuff. Yes, I have both my MIL and my Mom helping me today -- am I lucky or what??

DS was talking some more about WDW this morning on the way to school. I think it is really bothering him that we cannot go visit the parks at the same time we cruise. He keeps asking me things like “Mommy is the Small World ride on the Mickey Boat?”. I have to tell him No it is at Disneyworld and then he always says “I want to go back to Disneyworld…”. That poor kid has a bad case of WDW-itis…must be genetic!

I am actually finding myself getting very excited about planning another WDW trip. The cruise planning has been fun but there is just more planning involved with a park trip and I know DS will be so much more excited to go this next time. Plus DD will be almost 3 and we can really have some fun with her then.

I am going to make a decision regarding if I want to take DS out of school. I really like Thanksgiving week because of less missed school and less vacation I have to take. However, I know my family will not be happy if we miss Thanksgiving and of course there will be the crowds and the higher resort prices. The crowds are my worst fear.

My DD loves hers (she has it on in our family pic on pg 6 of Lisa's cruise site.)

Laughing place will probably have them online closer to xmas party time. (but i've noticed they give themselves a hearty markup on the actual price)

I would go through merchandising phone # and have them start at either the x-mas store in DTD. (Cause the x-mas store will probably have a larger stock at any given time)
