It is Junie B Jones and her Big Fat Mouth. Well, after hearing how my kids both have the magic in their hearts when it comes to all things Disney, a friend told me not to get that one. In it the kids write about what they want to be when they grow up. One kid says that they want to be MM. JBJ tells them that they can't possible grow up to be MM and let's just say that the other kids set her straight about that one. :(

Sophia Loves Junie B Jones and we read them before bed. Sophia loves Mickey and nothing that is said in the book is going to change that, even saying that he is not real.

Sophia has often asked questions about the characters and to be honest knows that they are people that are dressed up. She still loves them and she is still afraid of some of them, go figure.

No, they do not open up any more slots at the 75 day mark. They hold 50% of the Palo resies for onboard booking but no excursion slots are held back for boarding.

so there is no point in me staying up and trying to book Palo for my dad?

Oh well, I don't want to do the onboard ressie rush either.

Someone must have sniped me becuase I was outbid in the last three seconds.

well, I am going to hit the hay soon...I am beat.

Forgot to mention that the kids' passports arrived on Saturday!!! We did their applications on Aug. 19th, so that was quick! Even though we don't have to have them for the cruise, we decided to go ahead and get them. DH had to get his in a rush a few years ago and that was a pain.
funny thing, though; we sent mine in for renewal at the same time, and that one hasn't come back yet.

That was fast! Hmmm, maybe they're double checking your security clearance? What aren't you telling us?? :rotfl:

Our kids have passports because we travel to Canada a lot to visit family and it makes it much easier. I think it is a good idea to have them anyway... My younger sisters have had passport issues twice. Once they both went to the airport for a trip to Paris and both my Dad and her Mom (my step-Mom), two normally savvy world travelers, thought kids under 18 just need a birth certificate. Whoops. Graduation trip to Paris became a trip to San Diego. That was 5 1/2 years ago. Now my middle sis lives in London and younger sis (now a sophomore at UVa) and Mom were going to visit last month. One hour before they are due at the airport, younger sis gets out her passport and realizes it has expired 6 months prior. So mom went ahead without her and little sis had to wait for an expedited renewal and fly out 3 days later. Very expensive mistake. The worst was that because her flight dates changed, she was flying home the day after all that extra security stuff happened last month. So it took her twice as long to get home as it did my step-mom who flew on the original dates. Poor girl, it was pretty stressful for her.

Not trying to steal the thunder here. :cool1: But I cannot find any pal mickey swap threads. Are none being done anymore? Or does anyone here have a pal mickey that maybe would like to lend to us for our wdw part of the trip and we could give him back at the ship? Thanks guys. I just can't see paying for one if the boys won't play with him.

I wish they still rented them at the parks! I'm planning to buy one Thursday when we get there. We'll be using it Thurs afternoon/evening and Friday. If you're visiting the parks before then, I'd be happy to work something out so you can use ours.

Wyatt is going to be captain hook if I can get him a costume somewhere. I finally won my first ebay item yesterday. It was peter pan costume for spencer. Ya know the good and bad, or just mouthy I should say. :rotfl:

What size does he need? We have a Captain Hook costume that ds6 wore last year. I am not sure if it will still fit or if he is bored with it.

My 4 year old wore a Captain Feathersword costume last year, he's definitely ready for a new one this year so that's available if anyone wants to use it.

Halloween goes by practically unnoticed at our house. :sad2: Our kids are all grown, GKs that are little no longer live here and we live way out of town so we get no trick or treaters. :sad2:

It will be a cold day down under before DH will dress up on Halloween. :sad2:
:lmao: Gee would you be surprised to know DH won't dress up - not even for DD. That's okay because I dress up every year. I am always a villian (they have the best costumes). Last year I was the Queeen of Hearts. This year I am Maleficent however I'm really thinking Cruella. DH is waiting for me to buy it - he doesn't believe I haven't done it yet. I go out walking with the kids while the adults stay behind and man the door. Halloween is a blast.

OMG! She is so terrified of a couple of them I thought for sure that she didn't know. :teeth: Neither of mine "know"....but that is going to change I guess. After the way he stood up to his friends last year defending MM, IDK how DS is going to feel when he reads it.

I had the biggest nightmare just now.

I wanted to purchase a song on ITunes and charge my iPod so I plugged it in and when iTunes came up it asked me if I wanted to upgrade to the new version so I stupidly said yes. Well #1 it took forever to install the new version but it finally finished. It then said that there were updates for my iPod and would I like to install them. I even more stupidly this time said yes again. Well it starts to do its install thing and then iTunes freezes up and then it tells me that I have a corrupted iPod! :scared1: WHAT!!!! I disconnect the iPod and all of my music is GONE! DH and I play around with the computer, restart, etc.. and finally at some point it tells me again that I have a corrupted iPod and asks me if I want to restore to the orginal settings. Thankfully this seems to have worked but it is still acting strange and keeps asking me what language I want, etc.. For now I think I still have a working iPod but I just dont' really know right now.

If you want to add him to your resie, you should not have a problem doing that.

Lisa, I know what you did now , you finally changed it from saying Eastern Cruise .....it now says Double Dip Cruise ...
