Thank you everyone for the warm welcome back! I just caught up on the posts from overnight. So excited about this cruise and getting to meet you all!!

Today we went to the Minnesota State Fair -- the fair is a big deal here, like over 100,000 per day. We rode some rides, ate some fried food (cheese curds -- yum!), went on the giant slide, and looked at the prize winning quilts and scrapbook pages, saw the animals. We saw a baby buffalo and 2 alpacas (sp?), they were neat. So now we are tired out!

I have to catch a plane in 2 hours to Disney World!!!

question on the lime green t-shirts. I am getting special shirts to give to the boys at their bday party next month when we suprise them with the news that we are going on the cruise, so I'm planning to have us all wear those on day 1. I saw some other group pics where they had green leis for everyone to wear if they weren't wearing green shirts. Will it be ok if I get those? I can pick up a bunch to hand out if anyone else is in a similar situation.

If not, I can have the kids change into green shirts after we get on the ship!

Carla, what is Time Machine, is it from Leopard OSX?

Although I don't think it would have helped in this case. Applecare had me do a full system restore, it was set back to right out of the box status.

Don't worry Tana. Not everyone has the shirts. I would love to see their expresion when they get their special shirts and realize where they are going.

I had to move out of my office. The window has been open since Wed I guess.
It's freezing in there. Now I am happy I set us up for wifi. PJ and John - no new Macbook in the future. Car trumps Macbook. My sister gave me her old ibook. It'll work in a pinch, at least I'm portable on OS X. I just couldn't bring myself to set my laptop connect onto my wireless network. All of my work equipment is on it's own network and DSL line.

Kristina, we were just driving by the rodeo and it was only 6. We had to eat anywat and decided we wanted to check it out afterwards. We really had a lot of fun. I did take a 2 hour nap today.

I have some good news! I went to shopko today and all of their duct tape was wrapped in non smelly plastic wrap! So I got to pick up all the choices without gagging! I now have new duct tape. One more thing off my list...

Did you find non-smelly lime green duct tape?

What exactly is this duct tape for anyway? Should I be concerned?

I'll just throw out my opinion on medications! Agree they are overprescribed and also agree that we as a society need to keep a closer watch out on our children, especially when it comes to medicating.

Yup Leopard . Hmm now I'm curious - theoretically if it takes you back could you go back to the timeline with no issue I wonder or is it not system files...

Yep!

We 800 pages of point of sale tax code. like only 8% when you buy 1/2 or more of a baked item. 8% only on fast food under $4. 8% only on kids clothes. And on and on it goes, .

Regarding taxes here we have two different sales taxes. One for food (can't remeber the %) and another higher one for everything else.
