Gosh Caroline, up late last night and back up today..... (and you made it to a rodeo to boot)
I didn't make it past 11 last night.... I was tired.....
We went on a little trek ourselves after we left Baltimore.
My DH likes planes and stuff. I surprised my DH with going to restaurant i found in College Park, MD. It is a theme restaurant called The 94th Aero Squadron. It looks like an old french farmhouse and they have war planes outside. Inside, the interior is very nice. Wooden beams and ceiling, fireplaces, very cozy.
I looked at their menu online and noticed that the had beer chees soup on the menu. It was yummy but not as thick as the soup as Le Cellier.
I ordered their meatloaf that was described as meatloaf top with onion straws, drizzled with gravy and over garlic mashed potatoes.
Yummmmmm was all i can say about it.
DH ordered their sizzling sirloin steak and a baked potato. He thought it sounded good. Then we saw a table nearby who ordered it and he almost started to drool. It's still sizzling when they bring it to your table (what sizzles is the juice with mushroom and onions that the steak is cooked in.)
The potato was huge. (about 6-7 inches long)
DH claims it was the best steak he's ever had.
