Driving down to OBX the other Friday was crazy in Virginia. We went through right after ernesto. There were tree limbs everywhere. There were lanes of major highways shut down due to fallen trees. We were glad we left in the morning and drove through daylight instead of during the night.

Actually yes , My DS is 14 though he thinks he is much older he will only be 14 when we cruise ...you have him as 15 ..Your the Greatest Lisa

I guess you are. My BF moved from when I live to north PA. She is about 2.5 hours away. It was horrible. It is now almost 10 years! She is still my BF.

I only have a few days to catch up on everything. My BF is getting married this weekend. This is the wedding I have been going on about....I leave on Thursday afternoon and won't get home until very early Sunday. You guys will think I am a nut but I miss my kids already!

Amy (and Todd) ~ spoke with DH, Charming --- or not so charming tonight to confirm. HE ACTED LIKE HE NEVER HEARD OF THE "JEEP" TOUR???~~!! Whatever...we are SOO IN~! He actually called me "Vanessa" ---- you know there are issues then!!

Brandi - so glad you made it back dafe and sound...happy belated bday.....I am beginning to feel old ---turning 32 on 11/20...but hey ---- I got carded today.....although the cashier said I am about to make your day, which actually wasn't so nice!!

John and Amy ---- those pics are GORGEOUS!! Sophie looks so happy and she is getting tall -- her hair is growing longer!! I love them and they are so worth it ~ no matter the outrageous cost!!

Other news from the week.
DSIL#1 - called me on my cell while at the beach...she was pregnant and miscarried...sad news. This was her 3rd baby. DH and I went through that before we had DS. That was bad.

DSIL#2 - call us at the beach....she is 3 cen. dialated and 80% effaced...DR told her she could have her baby any day (still didn't have it.)

DSIL#1 - called again...a friend of theirs (an aquaintance of ours) was killed while drunk driving. He was 31 years old. He was a good guy, never out to hurt anyone, he just made bad decisions. I am sure you guys all know someone like that.

It was strange...sitting on the beach, having a fun time, and getting such sad calls. We basically decided that we would deal with all of that when we got home. Now...we are back to reality.

I am up working on HOMEWORK for Samantha --- a family tree....---who invented these things? John's side is nice and neat...his parents have been married 50+ years (sorry Pops)....my side....well, mom is working on her 3rd (maybe 4th) divorce. I only made two branches. I just did our foursome...but in the meantime...I was looking through photos...and our wine thing was in there...do ya'll realize there was only 10-12 of us in there??

I was really creative when I only had one in school. When DD12 was in 1st grade we had to do this. I made it in the shape of a pyramid. It worked out really well too. We both have very big families. My parents have 16 GKs while his are closing in on 20 fast!
