Has anyone rented a bicycle? It says the kids have to ride alone if they don't fit into the chair - we are still riding with training wheels. I can't believe they don't have bikes to accomodate this age group.

I'm making small baby steps in progress - I keep getting things corrected on my reservations for excursions. It's taken 3 phone calls now because I don't have time to stay on the phone with them forever.

They are still trying to straighten out the Fury Catamaran thing that Kim had fixed on monday. Argghhh!!!!

I have a question for Angie and others - you mentioned that there were specials in the spa on shore days - what time would these end? would the price still be good after everyone re-boards or only during the hours when most people are ashore.

Just curious if I could afford to squeeze something extra in if I do it on a shore day.

do they ever reduce the Rasul treatment on these days. It might be fun to do it twice.

Lisa made it to Baltimore ok. She said they had very smooth flights! She wanted me to tell everyone what she did BEFORE she left.



She left her wallet on the kitchen table!
They did let her get on the plane after a thorough search.

Has anyone seen Kristina on lately? We will be trying to leave around 6am tomorrow so that we can be in Baltimore between 9 and 10. I may give her a ring to see if she is still coming. Will try to read through the posts...

So how was it to double dip? I'm contemplating doing this so we can still enjoy the main dining room with the kids after our Palo dinner. I just worry that I'll be so full I won't want to sit there. I could say I'll eat light at Palo but I'm probably kidding myself.

It was actually fine. We didn't feel rushed at all and the food came out quickly! It is funny how everyone knows what you are doing. Palo knew we were going to the DR and our DR servers knew we were in Palo. We didn't eat anything in the DR but maybe a nibble or two.

Our schools almost never start before Labor Day. They tried it the year DD13 was in kindergarten and people felt like their lives were destroyed. In the Philadelphia area, people believe it is a God-given right to go "down the shore" (that's "go to the beach in New Jersey") every summer weekend through Labor Day. And somehow starting school earlier would ruin that! So your DD can laugh when mine is still in school until the third week of June.

Yep, everyone comes our way! We don't start until after LD because so many have a summer business and teachers and kids work summer jobs.

I have been busy, busy, busy cleaning tonight. I cleaned the living room and the bathroom and I still have some laundry to fold up. DS has been "working" on his room and DH has been tackling the kitchen and dining room. DH and I are tired so he took a break to go grab us some dinner. Don't want to cook and make more dishes.

My parents are supposed to get here around lunch tomorrow but I have to go to the grocery store first thing in the morning so I really need to finish the cleaning tonight. I also have a bunch of laundry I need to fold.
