Kim - what is the brain game? I want to see how many brain cells I have lost since my 20's (maybe I don't). I already know I don't think as sharply as I think I did back then.

I had a miserable day today - having to travel to Cleveland on business.

Then I had calling hours for a co-worker's mother. The normally one hour drive from Cleveland took me TWO hours today due to construction and traffic. I got home at 8:00 tonight - I left home this morning at 6:00 . . . Is that any kind of life?

And trust me Kim, if you run into a situation - chances are I have had it happen too. Sexual harassment (I have even had girl to girl situations), suicides, firings, Family and medical leave abuse, ADA issues, and add to all of that union issues . . . I have seen a lot over the years.

BTW - HATE the Steelers - although they do have the kid from OSU as a rookie. As a kid growing up, my favorite team was the Dolphins. This was from the Bob Griese perfect season era.

I really hate the video games where people kill eachother and there is chasing and tanks.... What I do love are puzzles of any kind. Love Tetris, Dr. Mario, Soduku etc... So when DH saw this, he knew it was my kind of game. I play them a lot on airplanes and in airports. It helps me drown everything else out. This one is called Brain Age, train your brain in minutes a day. Kind of fun!

You sound like you have been "the buck stops here" guy for a long time. It's a big load, especially with those hours....

Hoping it is the new video ipod with downloadable movies!

pj, one way of thinking of it is 4 chances (downs) to go at least 10 yards.

I don't like the shoot em up games either - but don't play games much now that DS is all grown and off at college. I never was that great at video games anyway. My favorite games are games like Scrabble, and Trivial pursuit. DW does NOT like games, so I always have to wait for DS to play with me when he is home. I also like card games.

DW and I do not play games together because I am too competitive. I also play by the rules and will call someone on them. So, DW gets mad at me because she just wants to play for fun. I play to WIN. So we stay away from games. DS and I are both the same - but we respect each other as worthy opponents. These days I only beat him on about 1 out of 5 scrabble games, and the tables turn on trivial pursuit. Since I have had a lot more time to compile useless information.

pj, one way of thinking of it is 4 chances (downs) to go at least 10 yards.

And every time they advance the ball those 10 yards, they get a new set of 4 downs.

If they do not make 10 yards in those 4 downs, they must either kick to the other team on the 4th down, or if they go for it and fail, the ball goes to the other team.
