Saturday at the aquarium will be a go unless there is really bad weather. Forecast says sun so far. I have to plan which way to go. The ferry to Delaware would keep me from a lot of traffic and the first one leaves at 7:30 am.

 Hello fellow cruisers...I'm still keeping up with the thread. You guys are having just too much fun here.:teeth:

I finally paid off the cruise. That is one more :donald: in the row.

We found out a couple of weeks ago that one of our cruise buddies had to back out of the trip :guilty: We still have DW and I and another couple. Our previous cruises have been with the same group, so it will be kind of a downer to be missing part of the group. I don't think we will get lonely though....being part of the DDD Cruisers Dis Geek United gang. :thumbsup2

Sorry your friends can't go, but yes we Geeks will make sure you are never lonely! :dance3: :woohoo:

ok, nix the ferry idea. It only shortens the drive by 30 miles but is over an hour ride! It would actually take longer to get there. hmmmm

Looks like Ernesto is going further east. Good for lillygator. pixiedust: Here's hoping it will go on out into the Atlantic missing the rest of our east coasters.

They highly recommend pre-purchasing the tickets for this weekend as they can run out of tickets and the lines can be extremely long.

Ok, I have to try and find DD a bathingsuit for a pool party later. I also have to see about their piano lessons today. I am taking my BF to dinner for her b-day before they leave for California and I forgot about lessons. :guilty:

Hope you come to the Aquarium Kristina!
Great pics Marielle. Beautiful kids
Great to see you Mickey.
Kim and Angie - you may have talked me into a message!! :Pinkbounc

Later all!!

Shame we could go on friday night..... $7 a person admission after 5pm. They let people in until 8pm. (but their info says that you can stay until 1.5 hrs after closing time.) I don't think theres a dolphin show at night though :(

Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of "quiet time"? :rotfl:

I can't imagine any place this group is at as being quiet! :lmao:

Hate to ruin the dream but there is nothing "quiet" about the family beach. :rotfl: Look at it this way....your kids will have lots of other DISkids to play with...which will keep them happy, enteretained, and occupied right in front of your chairs so you will be able to relax a bit. :teeth:

Now that is a deal! :)

Lisa, is your DH on a base right now.....

Some of the ticket offices on bases offer discounts for tickets to the Aquarium.

or is he just a civilian contracted to work on base?

If he's eligible he could get everyone discounted rates.

Actually on our past cruise it was not bad. We had 2 chairs with umbrellas and no one else was really around us. In fact after lunch DD and I even took a nap together in one of the chairs. :)

He is civil service so has an ID and his car up there has a base sticker. I'll tell him about that.

should I make my facial appt. on CC day at 3pm (while hubby takes care of kids on CC) or at 4:30 - when they will all be back and need help organizing for dinner? and show?

thanks.

elaine

I think I just decided on 4:30 because the kids can go to the club for Picture this and that will leave me free for the facial.

If the evening show has already started and you are late getting there can you still go inside?
