Becka - company stresses me out as well!! I too hate the cost especially since we can get an hour massage by the rehab dept at work for $40 and no sales pitch! DH actually had one at the GF last year before the cruise...I was choking at the price!

That's almost the same pot roast recipe I use - I just use Lipton Onion Soup Mix in it. I love pot roast!!

I would like to do a spa trmt....we did the exotic rasul last time...

We are heading to the OBX on Friday. That is right about the same time that Ernesto will be in NC!!!! My mom is freaking out. I refuse to worry about something that I can't control anyway!

Ahh Christmas - this year I am determined to not buy as much....really. The girls don't need any toys. I hate them getting used to the idea of gift after gift which my mother seems to enjoy. I would love the grandparents to buy Disney Dollars or a local membership to the aquarium but no one listens to me! It seems everyone thinks opening a package is IMPORTANT....how do you tell some one supposed to be a grown up that it isn't?

I kind of want to make the family members a basket this year...a cooking one for my mom, etc....I think all the gift giving of knick knacks etc...is such a waste of money...I just wish I could get the family to agree.

I would rather us all go to Disney for the day and spend it together or something. Maybe one of these days they will come around.

sorry - never watched it! I can't wait for the new season of DH and Grey's....they looked so good last night as presenters on the Emmy's. I do have to say I had tears in my eyes when Dick Clark came out. He has been such a NYE staple and I always watched American Bandstand when I was very young (along with Solid Gold) aside from wanting to be a can can girl I wanted to be on AB or a Solid Gold dancer...later a Fly Girl on INC...etc. It just tore at my heart to hear him speak...he must be going through some major therapy at the moment.

I had the TV turned way down so that DD would go to sleep so I couldn't hear him well but it did sound like something was wrong. That is so sad.

No, it wasn't on the same show. The slop thing for CG happened earlier. The week Dani was HOH is the POV that they were in a graveyard & buzzed in for points. That show was kind of funny though because it was Janie against Dani, James, Boogie, Marcellus, and Will...Dani thought that they were going to be able to keep Janie from getting the POV...but they didn't. CT took all the prizes that they could get their hands on...then made it look like Marcellus took $5000. Dani agreed to go in solitary confinement to get points. The person with the most points won POV. You earned them by doing bad stuff & lost them by taking the prizes.

I dressed both DD's in their Gator cheerleading outfits today....getting spirited up for the weekend. Luckily it's a 6pm game so it won't be too terribly hot. We play Southern Miss....fun stuff!

yes - we are season ticket holders so barring a storm we are usually there. We take the girls to 2-3 games a season....they haven't missed a season since they were born....

I work for the newspaper here in town and go to a lot of college football games. Gainesville is a fun stadium. But don't get to go there much...my boss is a UF grad and scarfs uf all of the UF games.

I too was very worried about going for massages. I have suffered from anxiety attacks for almost 18 years and don't like going into new situations or meeting new people, (unless it's on the dis boards!). I went to get a massage on the recommendation of a friend and it was the best thing I have ever done!!

People keep recommending them to me as well, because I have anxiety disorder so bad they say a massage will really help me relax. I see their point, but I'm very uncomfortable in new situations like you mentioned. Maybe I'll book the couples massage. It will be easier to relax if my DH is with me.

Karen – One of my favorite crock pot recipes is for pot roast. I know this is an unsolicited recipe but if you are like me you always need more and even if you don’t like it someone else might.

pot roast
Potatoes, Carrots, Onions (whatever veggies you like)
1 pkg. Good Seasons Italian Dressing Mix
1 pkg. Au Jus gravy mix
1 can tomato juice

Put the roast and veggies in the crock pot. Pour the Italian dressing and au jus gravy mixes over the roast. Pour the tomato juice on top. Cook on low 8-10 hours.

Thanks Becka. That sounds yummy. Everything I make in my crock pot has that pot roast flavor. That's why the beer and salsa one sounded interesting.

I love spas. But that being said - I only go to my massage therapist for massages.....there is this comfort thing that I can trust her...but like someone else said...I too always wear my underwear. I guess I just don't need to take them off to be totally relaxed. Never saw the need.

And whoever talked about being claustrophobic in a wrap....it is claustrophobic and kinda gross....for that one, you wear this paper undie thingee....and they have to slather stuff on you and then they wrap you and then unwrap you and then shower you off....and you're supposed to be relaxed by all this?!!!! NOPE!!! Not for me.

In terms of the game I believe Will deserves to win. He's just so good at charming people, lying and manipulating. But personally I'd love to see Janelle win because she's such a good competitor and all. I really like George too, but I doubt he'll make final 2.
